Awesome

Baylor gives out scholarships based on need and merit. The merit based scholarships are awarded based on your SAT/ACT scores and class rank/GPA. They range from $20,000-60,000, broken up over four years. Also, high school students can continue to retake the standardized tests all through the senior year and if they achieve a higher score, they can be awarded more money. Baylor is also very generous with their need based aid. 90% of Baylor students are on some kind of financial aid.

Process Was Smooth, but Still Trying to Find More

I received the top award, but I'm still looking for more because Baylor's tuition is going up. FAFSA is a lot of help with Baylor's scholarships.

Financial Aid Is Cool

The financial aid at Baylor University is quite reasonable. In your financial aid reward letter you must accept or decline the amount the university gives you. They give you enough money to cover for both the fall and summer semesters and if you plan on taking summer classes you can apply for a summer alternative loan. If you were missing any forms the financial aid office contacts you and sends the information you need. To really understand and wanting to know more about your reward I suggest going in person to talk to a financial aid counselor. They are welcoming and will answer all your questions.
