Interviews & Information Sessions

Interviews related to the admissions process are to be determined by the prospective undergraduate. Group information sessions take place during campus tours, or you can schedule a personalized campus tour.

Campus Tours

Personalized campus tours include attending a class of your choice and witnessing the energy of a Baylor classroom. You can also arrange to meet with a professor in your area of interest. Admissions counselors can help you navigate the oceans of information about topics ranging from entrance requirements to financial aid. To schedule a Baylor visit three or more days in advance, fill out the visit request form online at http://www.baylor.edu/admissions/index.php?id=19647 Campus Premiere Dates are for prospective high school students and their families for a campus tour.

Overnight Visits

Campus Premiere is an overnight event. The two days of activities include a mixer on the night you arrive, campus tour, dormitory tour, lunch in the dining halls, shopping in the bookstore, student activities fair, lab tours, library tours, attending presentations by Baylor professors, special interest topics such as study abroad and Honors College, and finally, meeting Baylor’s mascot, the Bear. TIP: In terms of what you see is what you get, the picture presented by the tour is an accurate representation of the facilities and food on campus, but if you want to see what really goes on, go off campus and tour the apartments and neighborhoods at night. You might catch a party going on or just people walking the Bear Trail, but since the majority of students live off campus, it’s a much more accurate view of what school life is like. Also, go to the library at night and talk to some of the students that are studying there. If they’re studying on a weekend, they’ll give you a different take because they’re a different caliber of student. People at Baylor are very welcoming and are willing to discuss their favorite topic—their school.
