In Leicester, not much goes on out there but it's safe. Worcester has bars and lots of events going on. Both campuses are set in their own areas so locals aren't disturbed.

Guys & Girls:
People are very athletic looking at Becker but people dress very casual which is nice.
College Freshman 2013-09-23T02:46:39Z
There is not ton of parking on the two campuses, but enough for the students. many students bring theri cars, and freshman can have cars too. Parking is free at Becker as well.
College Freshman 2013-09-23T02:43:54Z
The shuttles at Becker are great. They coincied with class schedules and are always on time. They travel between the two campuses, so if you have class on the other campus you don't need a car, and they are free

It's Massachusetts. You get what you should expect. We have harsh winters and hot summers. There really isn't any weather issues as long as you're used to it.

Health & Safety:
I feel extremely safe, especially on the Leicester campus. Both campuses have 24/7 campus police on campus (duh). If there are any issues, they'll be there in no time.
Worcester is like any other city, you should always have someone with you when walking around, especially at night. There's plenty of shady areas in Worcester. Generally the campus is a very nice and safe area.
College Junior 2013-09-17T22:35:09Z
There's plenty of bars in Worcester if that's your thing. There's also a local hookah bar in town. It's like any other major city.
College Junior 2013-09-17T22:32:58Z
The view is gorgeous especially from the Leicester campus. The Worcester campus is more of a city separated by blocks. Anything that is needed is nearby. For you sports fans, there's plenty of pro sports games in Worcester as well as many concerts (The Pladium, etc.)
College Junior 2013-09-17T22:30:28Z
There's a shuttle that goes between each campus and is generally very punctual. A car isn't needed as there is a shuttle every week that brings the student to the local Walmart to get any necessities.

Guys & Girls:
As a whole, students are very friendly when pertaining to meeting new people. everyone may not always be willing to talk at first, but eventually everyone becomes comfortable with each other.

The Campus Police is not very strict regarding to most things. If respect is given to an officer, respect is returned. Although rules are rules, their is a great understanding between administration and students.
College Senior 2013-08-14T14:35:46Z
I personally have never had a problem with the computers.
College Sophomore 2013-08-11T02:00:15Z
As long as you're doing your own work, showing up to class, and not obviously breaking the rules it's fine. Campus police are nice, and often give warnings before they actually do anything. Worst comes to worst, you get written up and possibly have to pay a fine. They encourage fun to a degree and are easy to get along with.

Parking is decent, but could always be better. They are lenient when it comes to it for the most part. Parking is free on campus, but you need to register your car with campus police. There are certain restrictions and rules you must follow or else you'll end up with a nice ticket under your wiper. Otherwise, you can find places to park on either campus usually without a problem until the snow comes, which makes it a bit tougher.
College Sophomore 2013-08-11T01:52:39Z
It makes parking more difficult, as well as traveling between the two campuses. Worcester received the most snow in the entire country this year, so we had a good amount of snow days. If you have a vehicle, I recommend putting sandbags in your trunk before it starts snowing or you'll probably be struggling a bit.

There are many options to chose from at the dining halls, however, the food isn't always too great. There are many healthier options at the Leicester dining hall, compared to the Worcester dining hall. But, you can also special order anything you want and they will make it for you. You can also request something for the next day, such as, a vegetarian meal.
College Sophomore 2013-08-01T16:13:50Z
It is very easy to find parking on either campus. Most dorms have a parking lot and there is also street parking on both campuses.

Health & Safety:
Campus police are always patrolling the area. I have never felt unsafe on campus.
College Sophomore 2013-08-01T15:16:30Z
Lots of nice restaurants in Worcester, especially Moes!
College Sophomore 2013-08-01T15:15:19Z
Tons of parking in the Leicester Campus, the Worcester campus isn't bad at all for it being a big city.
College Junior 2013-07-31T16:59:00Z
The computers on campus for the majority of students work fine. They are sometimes a little sluggish, but nothing major. Printing in the library can be daunting sometimes if there are a lot of people, and none of the printers on campus print color or automatically on both sides. Besides this, printing is unlimited and free for all students. Gaming majors have access to additional computer labs, they may be better.

The two year nursing program is very intense and consumes all of your time. Expect to dedicate all of your time to school, and in return you will do well. You can always ask for extra help from your professors, they are always great and willing to help, but ultimately it comes down to how much you prepare for the exams.
College Sophomore 2013-07-07T02:16:46Z
Starting with the most apparent part first, the dining halls themselves are comfortable and contain friendly staff that are very helpful and talkative (not in a bad way). As for the food, there are days when it is pretty great stuff and others where I'd prefer not to eat any of it. one of the most important things to me when eating is having a variety, this includes being able to have my fruit and veggies. Becker does fairly well with providing these healthy options in it's food course. Overall, It does in fact provide a worthy dining experience but there will be days where eating out seems like a suitable choice.
College Sophomore 2013-07-07T02:09:34Z
The life on BOTH of Becker college's campus' is at the very least comfortable and vibrant. During my first year alone, it was obvious that there were plenty of friends to be made. Diversity was a plenty, consisting of foreigners and people traveling from all around to take part in Becker's renowned video/computer game and programming majors. The student center has a relaxed atmosphere and is a great place for students to go, hang out with friends and take part in some competitive gaming, eating, and lounging.
College Sophomore 2013-07-07T01:58:45Z
Between Leicester and Worcester, Becker's atmosphere varies dramatically. The Worcester campus' surrounding area is not exactly the safest place but there are constantly campus police patrolling and offering help to students at every time of the day and evening. There are many colleges in the surrounding area as well as shopping malls and outlets, restaurants, etc... The Leicester campus is beautiful with a very elegant view and calm, warm-hearted atmosphere. This campus is in a much more rural area as opposed to the extremely urban Worcester campus.
