Wonderful small town with big town things to do and there is always Omaha 6 miles away.

Omaha is a fantastic city. It has a friendly, almost small-town atmosphere, with the benefits of a large city. There are museums and attractions, lots of trees and parks, great places to eat, unique shops and stores, a couple good malls, and lots of interesting people.

The school is in Bellevue, which doesn't really have much to offer. It is, however, very near Omaha, which makes the grade! The zoo, the old market, the Jocelyn Art Museum, numerous parks, and innumerable delicious restaurants make the area very interesting. Also, it's only 8 hours from Chicago and Denver so you can make a fun road trip over a long weekend. The Bellevue area is pretty safe and the people are VERY kind and helpful.

Bellevue is a growing town thanks to the University and it has a country fresh and outdoor atmosphere. There are four seasons year round and the summers are very warm while the winters can be quite cold at times. There is a good balance of young, young adults and adults students pursuing education here creating a very balanced atmosphere that while it can be fun it is not excessive and one can focus on schoolwork. My favorite thing is that most people want to and are willing to help with anything they can.
