Off-Campus Is the Only Option! Bellin College offers no housing so most students either live at UWGB or in apartments. The housing at UWGB (dorms and apartments) are really expensive, as is the food served there. Apartments not related to the schools can be really nice if you're willing to pay. There are lots of options for students, though, on all sides of town.

Drug Free Zone – Students must take drug tests anually in order to stay enrolled at Bellin College. Therefore, while some students may drink or smoke, there are few drugs. Also, the campus itself is a smoke-free environment so any drinking or smoking is done off-campus.

Typical Wisconsin – Wisconsin is very well known for its drinking, unfortunately. For students under the age of 21 there isn't a lot to do. It helps when the campus hosts events but Bellin college is really small so most of the events are at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. Football season is fun though...go Packers!

I will have a major in nursing and become an RN when I graduate. The college does a great job with the teachers because they are all very specialized within their fields and know a lot about the topics that they teach. The workload is not easy, but that can be said for any college class. It is not an over load of work but the teachers do a very good job at telling you what to study and teaching you what you need to know about the topics. There are some job opportunities at the school but you can get more experience working at a nursing home or at a hospital, which in Green Bay there are a lot of options.

The college does a good job at emailing you various scholarships that they are aware of, the problem is that all of them do not apply. The tuition is kind of expensive, but is acceptable for the class sizes. Otherwise, financial aid is through the government and through FASA which is on an as needed basis.

The college is very specialized and at the bachelor's level only offers a bachelor's degree in radiology and a bachelor's degree of nursing. This means that the teachers all have worked in the field for years before coming to teach and know a lot about the specific field that they were in. Professors are all very nice and want you to succeed. The graduating classes are small (around 50 people) and you take all of your nursing classes with the same people. This allows you to get to know everyone in your class very well. The registration process is very easy and you work with an academic advisor one on one to plan out the schedule and get registered for all of your general education classes.

Bellin Fitness Center – The college has a very small fitness center with locker rooms, that isn't really big but it does have a few things, but students are dually enrolled at University of Wisconsin Green Bay for general education credits, where they do have a huge fitness center to use that is free too!

Konop Food – Not very many choices, or healthy choices for that matter. Small area as well.

The college should've cancelled class at least twice last year due to snow.

I am very happy with Bellin College so far. There is one professor I don't care for but I love the other professors. They are very personal. Tuition is a little expensive, $20,000 a year. I think they could shave like $2,000 off of that. By the way, little crazy that it's $.10 for a plastic fork there.

Costs of nearby apartments aren't too expensive and they are close to campus.

Should have another computer lab on the first level. Great computer lab upstairs! Should consider iMacs.

The college does the whole financial aid process for you. It is a small school so everything is done in a timely manner.

Transit System – Bellin College students are also affiliated with the UWGB campus, they do get a free bus pass which is really nice. The bus does travel to both campuses and around the city. It is really nice to have free transportation.

Class Schedules – The class schedules at Bellin College are pretty strict. You do not get to pick your classes or what time they are at because it is a very small private school and classes are only held at certain times once a semester.

Unfriendly Atmosphere – if i have my way I would not choose my school. The tuition is very high. The program is OK but the students dont make life lovely over there if you are not from green bay. Accormodation is difficult to find and is very expensive.

Guys & Girls:
there is no social life, because there is no time for that. Too busy with studies. Every student is busy concentrating on their studies. Normal outfits, not much relationship, you have to know the person previously or enroll together with person to be your friend.

There Is None – You got a little store with some food, not much. The old building had nothing, so I guess its better then before. No meal plan obviously.

Theres Not Much – Nightlife is all going to be in Green Bay. There isn't much for under 21, unless you go to Appleton. There are tons of bars right in town by the stadium, and they are pretty good. The only parties you would see with Bellin however, would be house parties, and even then, there isn't much. No dorms, and mostly everyone commutes. Plus the workload is crazy so there really isn't much nightlife for nursing students.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
