A great school with a great reputation for providing internships in your area of study which was very important to me.

They have some teachers that are the only ones that teach certain classes, like the STNA classes. They are only available at certain times and days, and that makes it difficult for scheduling those classes.

I love the library. They do not charge for printing like most colleges do. This is wonderful when you are trying to stretch a buck!! The library staff is always friendly and very helpful!

For the most part students are either adults with full-time jobs going back to school to continue their education or kids straight out of high school who have little to no idea what they want to do. Belmont Ohio is a small area so for those students who went to Belmont College right out of high school it feels like high school all over again because you are going to school with the same group of people you knew in high school.

They have a computer lab and help at anytime. Including free tutoring.

Most have families and jobs. So, going to school betters them.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
Financing for the students seems to be readily available. They also have the trustees scholarship for students that graduated from high schools in the area

I feel as if the accounting program is a better constructed program than other programs at this school. The credit for that goes to the program chair, Bill Knox, CPA. He is a great professor who is really there for the students.

This is a good school for someone local to the area. The environment at school is relatively laid back. The professors are always available during their listed office hours, and more then willing to help, but the courses a lot of the time are less than challenging. I maintain about a 3.5 GPA with doing very limited work outside of class. That is the main reason I don't give this school a higher rating.

The main reason I like Belmont College is its flexibility with class schedules. They offer day, evening, and online courses which makes it easy to work around my schedule. I work full-time so it is nice to be able to take evening classes after work and online classes that let me do the work on my days off.

While I haven't had much experience dealing with my school's post-grad services, I have heard from other people that say they do a relatively good job of helping you explore your options.

I was a little hesitant the first time I took an online class, but it was easy to get used to after the first week. Each week we had a timed online quiz that was roughly 50 questions. Because there was not going to be any classroom interaction, the professor would post a discussion question each week and I had to respond to his post as well as two posts from other students that way we were able to have some interaction with each other. The biggest obstacle with taking an online course is learning how to manage your time appropriately.

The class schedules are kind of flexible. There's night classes and day classes.

The professors are pretty involved and class registration is pretty easy. The workload is manageable.

Computers labs are available and the library has computers as well. Printing can be done at the library for free. WiFi is installed on most of the campus

Belmont Abbey is a small school where everyone gets to know you on a personal basis. Professors are very willing to help students. The staff care about the students and want them to succeed.

My School Choice – I choose my college because it was close to home and classes are small. The good thing about the classes being small is instuctors can actually focus on you as an individual.
