There are a variety of off-campus housing options. There are a number of places in walking distance of the University, and there are some that are a short drive from the campus. Lisle is a nice place to live and offers many places to live off campus. With the Lisle being a suburb and not the best college town, there are many families residing in the town. Students who choose to live off campus have to remember that they have to consider elderly neighbors and children living close to them. Having multiple roommates is the best choice, because housing off campus is not always that cheap.

There are many options, as in houses and apartments. Two apartments very close are Abbey Wood (in walking distance from school for great prices) and Four Lakes (right down the road, with a pool and ski hill). The houses around Benedictine are also very nice and many athletes share houses. A huge plus is that in Lisle, safety is a top priority on and off campus of the university.

No idea. Been to several apartments off campus and they were fine, but I really can't tell you seeing as I lived on campus.

All of the housing at Benedictine University are on campus. The guys dorm is called Ondrak which offers a tv lounge, a computer lounge, and several study rooms. The girls dorm is called Jaegar and has the same amenities as the guys dorm with slightly nicer accomodations. There is also a co-ed dorm and apartments for upper classman. Overall living on campus is a very good experience.

Close-By and Convenient – Although they can get pretty expensive, it is worth the money. The campus is walking distance away from the off campus housing. Nobody had problems when it came to transportation to the apartments. we could easily walk to the library and back during final exams and it was very convenient for all of us.
