My laptop wasn't working for about 3 weeks - it was easy-peasy. I barely missed it.

Nothing to complain about. There are no printing costs or limits to the amount that you can print. It's advised that you bring your own laptop.

Bennington has a lot of school-supplied computers, both for general use and with a dedicated lab for all of the digital-heavy arts disciplines--photography, animation, etc. They're REALLY nice, high-powered Macs for the most part. We've got some really cool tech too, like 3D printers. The labs get crowded around midterms and finals, so you have to plan carefully, but otherwise they're great. The wireless network blankets the campus and is free for anyone to use, but can be a little slow.

Wireless Internet is a strange thing at Bennington. It really tends to slow down around midterms/finals.
IT is pretty decent on campus. If you fill out a helpdesk ticket they'll usually respond within 24 hours.
In terms of printer access, all printing is free (color and black/white.) Unless it's finals/midterms, you should be able to print what you need. We have a 24 hour computer lab and the library. Most computers come equipped with all the programs you'd need out of a computer (Adobe CS, Microsoft Office, etc.) The campus is mainly mac-friendly, but there are PCs available for use as well.

Typical Computer Accsess – Even during finals week, I could find a computer in the library or in a computer lab. It does get a little busy but the rooms with the computers are open for a lot of time. Its manageable without a computer, but life is SO convent with them.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
