Student Author OverviewWhat's This?

Alcohol use on campus is widespread, and it’s not uncommon for students to start drinking Thursday night. The peer pressure to indulge can be stronger in larger cliques such as sport teams and fraternities, but overall it is not bad. If you choose not to booze, keep in mind that your friends/roommates might be drinking, so be prepared to keep an eye on them if you still chose to go out, and give them a bottle of water when they return. Alcohol is easy to get if you know where to look, but be careful not to overindulge or you may find yourself in containment by Campus Police for your own safety. There have been incidents on campus of students being taken to the hospital for overconsumption of alcohol. This is the case in particular of freshman, so know your limits, or simply decline.

As with most schools, it you want drugs, you will find a way to get them. Don’t expect to be at an on-campus party and have someone offer you questionable pills or powder because it won’t happen. People either know there are drugs here or they don’t; it's far more under the radar than alcohol. For those who chose to participate, the most popular choices are marijuana, hookah, Viccodin, Adderral, and Ritalin.

A Lot of People Are Involved.

Campus gets pretty wild on the weekends. People pretty much trash the dorms and there tends to be beer cans and puke everywhere. If you don't want to be involved in this, you can typically find something fun to do in Boston, or just lay low with your friends and ignore it as much as you can.

Everyone at Bentley drinks for the most part. Just be careful and don't drink until you puke. It's not fun.
