College Prowler Take
The hub of student activity on campus can be found in the Student Center, behind the Rhodes and Boylston apartments. It is the mecca of anything related to student life. With student organization offices on the third floor that overlook the Seasons Dining Hall on the second floor, there is an open, sunny feel to the building that makes it unique and unlike any other building on campus. Another exclusive feature is the study lounge, also dubbed the “Ski Lodge,” on the second floor, characterized by high ceilings and a year-round working electric fireplace. The bottom floor is home to a large conference room that has been used for club dances and indoor activity fairs. The central location, welcoming design, and accessibility make the Student Center the most popular building on campus. The administration has recognized how well the Student Center was received by students, and the Charles A. Dana Athletic Center has been a success, as well—although many students complain about its inconvenient hours of operation. The number of non-athlete students using the gym facilities increases each year, and while new and extra equipment is added, the size of the space remains the same. Most academic buildings are beginning to show signs of aging with discolored wall paint and flooring tiles, but usually if there is a major problem, it will be fixed in a timely fashion. Due to student outcry, most dorms and suites have undergone major renovations to bring the rooms into the 21st century. With each building, both old and new, constructed mainly of brick, the campus has a uniform and professional look that never goes out of style.

I think this is the most gorgeous campus I have set foot on. The facilities department does a great job of keeping the campus clean, and when summer comes around, the grass is always plush and the view is beautiful.
