Student Author OverviewWhat's This?

Greek Life at Bentley is slightly untraditional when compared to other local universities. There are no fraternity or sorority houses on campus, and only a few frats have brothers who rent a house off campus for the purpose of having parties. They are a visible force on campus, but mostly serve a social purpose. The events and fundraisers run by the Greeks are something to be proud of; however, their main function is to appeal to those who have a compelling need for sisterhood or brotherhood.

The Greek campus events are usually for a good cause and really fun. Off-campus parties are usually pretty crazy, so be sure to take a friend or two and keep an eye on what you are drinking and how much. It’s basically mandatory for every freshman, especially the girls, to check out frat parties during your first year at college. Frat guys will come to your floor and sell tickets for the party and will run shuttle buses to the off-campus houses. After freshman year, the frat parties on campus are mostly Greeks and friends of Greeks only. Guys who aren’t in frats will have a harder time getting into frat parties, but having a pretty lady on your arm can help.

Bentley Greek Life

The greek life at bentley isn't that popular. There are no sorority houses and the frats are gross and the parties are terrible.

Greek Life on Campus

There aren't any specific houses for them to live in alone but they still show their presence on campus.

Greek Life

Greek life is exclusive with their parties, which fill up fast but they are very social with non-greeks as well. Frats seem to open the door to more parties and private events. Frat guys are well established.
