Between Harvard Square and downtown Waltham, there are plenty of off-campus dining options for students to choose from. While the shuttle makes it easier for students who do not have cars to eat out, do not overlook the possibilities of eating locally. Waltham has a wide variety of restaurants, delis, and pubs to chose from; any food preference from Asian to Mexican and Italian can be found near by. The prime locations for off-campus dining include Moody and Main streets, which boast a Bentley favorite, Margaritas, along with the staple pub food at the Skellig and John Brewer's. However if you want a chance to explore Cambridge a little more, restaurants such as Bertucci's, Fire + Ice, and Charlie's Kitchen are only a short walk from Harvard. There are many other choices besides, you are only limited by how far you want to walk or how hungry you are. Plus, once you are in Cambridge, you have the option of jumping over to Boston on the T, which can also be fun. The North End and Chinatown are two of the obvious choices across the Charles.

Of course there are also delivery and late night choices as well. The local Domino's is very popular, as well as several Chinese dining options. There is plenty of variety for sit down or delivery. The area also boasts an array of fast food chains if you are hankering for a quick, greasy option.

Off-Campus Is Okay

There is a shuttle to go to Harvard Square which is great. It is only 30 minutes away, so it is very convenient. From there, students can take the T to go into Boston. The only thing is that the shuttle doesn't run during lunch/dinner times, which is when I want to go back to campus.

Great Off-Campus Dining

There are many great options off campus. Main and Moody Street have affordable places that are delicious. Harvard Square is another place that provides endless options and variety that can appeal to anyone.

The Real Food That Surrounds Me

Being within a half hour of Harvard Square is a great thing. Not only can I hop on the shuttle at my school to get there, but once in Harvard Square, it's a quick ride into Boston to try some of the most delicious food. Boston offers so many different things that are so much more appetizing then what my school has to offer. Along with being so close to Boston, Main Street in Waltham and that area offers a lot of great restaurants as well. They have little family run places that make you feel like you are eating at home with your family.
