The campus police are pretty good...

The campus police are pretty good about the party scene. If you are stupid, they will get you for it, but as long as you're not way too drunk and stumbling around, they aren't a burden. Just be smart!

There are only business-minded individuals on campus, which does not provide for a diverse thought process, but this is made up for by the large amount of international students.

Drinking is no more prevalent here...

Drinking is no more prevalent here than at any other school. Drugs are obviously also on campus, but only if you seek them out. I've never been pressured to do any drugs here.

The athletic center, library, and...

The athletic center, library, and other facilities are new and kept up-to-date. The library has an Einstein's, the gym has a burrito place called Currito and an A&W. The student center has a deli that is open late on the weekends.

The freshman dorms are pretty good in terms of freshman dorms. Miller is a good place to be freshman year, and after that, you live in a suite or apartment.

The computer network is one of the...

The computer network is one of the best in the country. Every student is issued a laptop as part of the technology fee, gets an upgrade as a junior, and gets to keep this laptop upon graduation. The wireless network is fast and rarely ever lags. There is never downtime on the server during "regular" usage hours because service occurs in the early hours of the weekends.

I think Bentley has one of the best computer programs in the country. You can get wireless Internet from all areas of campus, including outside. You are given a computer as a freshman, and a brand new one as a junior, so there is no need to bring your own. The computer center is not really ever too crowded.

Parking on campus isn't bad....

Parking on campus isn't bad. Sometimes you have to park away from your building, but nothing is more than a 10-minute walk. Freshmen aren't allowed to bring a car, but with the shuttle, it doesn't matter.

It is decently easy to find a parking spot, but more parking would be nice. As a freshman, you must have proof of employment in order to have a car on campus.

When I came here, I was really apprehensive. Now, I love it. My only regret is that I didn't get more involved sooner. This place has a lot to offer, but you need to utilize it!

It took me a full year and a half to find my niche at Bentley, but now that I have, I could not be happier. It is important to find this, especially at a smaller school.

Living around Boston is the best...

Living around Boston is the best place to be for a college student. There are more than 40 schools in the surrounding area, and we can access them all with public transportation. Living in Waltham is great because we are so close to Boston, but we have a nice suburb to hang out in, as well. Moody Street is the place to be in this town!

Public transportation is quite convenient for me because of my proximity to the city. However, I wish the hours were extended longer so I was able to stay in and travel around Boston later.

Public transportation is really good around Bentley. We are provided with a free shuttle to Harvard University that runs all of the time. From there, you can get anywhere in Boston!

It's absolutely worth it to stay...

It's absolutely worth it to stay on campus! The dorms are quite close to classes, unless you live on North Campus where the apartments for upperclassmen and grad students are, or on Lower Campus, which is a 10-minute walk to classes, but you're right next to the athletic fields and the gym.

An average student is relatively...

An average student is relatively well-off, intelligent, and social. Most of the people who go to Bentley are leaders in their own right. Students here work hard and play hard on the weekends. There are more guys than girls—I think the ratio is around 60:40—but this is no liberal arts school. Almost everyone is well groomed and presentable. There aren't lot of scummy-looking people, but there are some scummy-acting ones.

Seasons is the main dining hall,...

Seasons is the main dining hall, which is operated by Sodexho. The food there is nothing to write home about. I usually don't feel great after eating there. Harry's Corner in the student center is open until 1 a.m. on weeknights and 2 a.m. on weekends. It serves subs, pizzas, sushi, salads, chicken fingers, etc. There are also other great places to get food with discretionary money, which is worked into your meal plan. We do have Currito (burritos) and A&W (burgers). Don't get a large meal plan after freshman year—stick to the 115 block, which gives you more discretionary spending.

All of the dorms are pretty nice...

All of the dorms are pretty nice compared to most schools I've visited. Living in Trees freshman year is great because you get to meet a lot more people than you do living in Miller or Slade. The only downside is that the dorms in Trees are smaller than the ones in Miller or Slade. Your housing is upgraded every year, providing you don't lose housing credits due to judicials. Falcone and Collins are upperclassman apartments and are less than a two-minute walk to class.

Campus is very safe. CP is always around, there are cameras everywhere, campus is very well lit, and there are emergency stations every several hundred yards.

There are lots of restaurants...

There are lots of restaurants close by, and all of them deliver—some of them until 3 or 4 in the morning. If what's close by doesn't suit your taste, then you can hop on the Bentley shuttle, get on the T, and enjoy some fine Italian food in the North End.

It was relatively not strict until...

It was relatively not strict until recently, but campus police are starting to crack down. Usually a first offense related to alcohol results in a warning, fine, and maybe a class. We are allowed to register kegs in upperclassman apartments, providing that everyone residing in the room is 21.

Many people are so involved with...

Many people are so involved with their own activities that it seems like no one has much time or desire to go watch games. Our athletic facilities are great, however. Many people play intramurals.
