Sorry to hear you have had a bad experience with Advisement. Is there anything in particular you need help with? Maybe I can get you someone who would be able to better assist you. Please reach out to me at amw@berkeleycolle.edu if you would like my assistance.
I have to disagree, all the professors I have had have been nothing short of helpful. Each professor inspires something different, as well as being very encouraging and even going an extra mile for help if needed.
Thank you for sharing Jaylee!
I definitely would have to disagree as well. The professors actually do in real life what they teach so the lessons are always relative to the current state of whatever major you're in. The staff in the Academic Support Center are some of the most helpful on campus once they get a grasp of exactly what you need help with.
That is not true, Berkeley offers our students numerous scholarships. We have scholarships that are merit and need based. The scholarships may be awarded to any student who meets the scholarship requirements. In fact, Berkeley awarded More than $40 million in Berkeley College grants and scholarships provided during the 2011-2012 award year.
Below are the scholarships available to students:
Alumni Association Scholarships
Achievement Awards
Challenge Program Awards
Howard L. Newhouse Grants
Non-Resident Student Grants
Robert V. Maher Access Grants
Woodland Park Scholarship
Residence Hall Grants
DECA Scholarships
FBLA Scholarships
International Student Grants
Transfer Grants
World Trade Center Supplemental Scholarship
Several of the professors have had several years of experience in that field, so many of them are always willing to help and give you as much insight into that field as possible. The school location is also near so many showrooms which makes it easier to find internships and they also have many events where there will be guest speakers from stores such as Lord and Taylor, they make sure that in any field you get as much information as possible.
Thanks for your comments, Lisa!
there are no dorms.
i'm not sure how helpful they are but i'm pretty sure you can talk to your advisor and she can suggest to you where other students with the same problem have gone.
We have reserved dorm rooms in co-op dorm buildings. You will be dorming with students from other schools as well as Berkeley. If you are interested in finding out more info about this, contact your Admissions Rep. If you don't have a representative, please email me at amw@berkeleycollege.edu
Is it hard to get a dorm room since it would be shared with other rooms?

No, it is not hard at all. All you need to do is speak to your Admissions Representative. They will help answer your questions.
If it is applicable with your schedule and travel options, the White Plains campus offers housing. You are able to take classes on any campuss you choose but can remain in the dorms. I currently do that and it has been of great assistance.
