Talk to the financial aid counselors

They have a few labs stationed around campus, you receive 500 free prints, there is a IT support group on campus that will help you fix wireless issues, etc. and fix computer issues within their abilities, because of the amount of students on campus its better to use an ethernet cord than wireless
College Freshman 2013-11-29T03:49:45Z
Free campus shuttle that runs every hour 6 days a week
College Freshman 2013-11-29T03:47:36Z
Nice amount of the normal fast food stores, then in the "downtown" area there is a nice chain of sit in areas to eat
College Freshman 2013-09-29T01:18:54Z
All students have work opportunities on-campus.

College Freshman 2013-09-29T00:52:04Z
There's a shopping mall only a mile away!
College Freshman 2013-09-29T00:46:46Z
Always fun activities to do on campus! I love it!

At Berry College I enjoy the Animal Science program. It is very unique in the fact that they start you off with hands on experience with any of the majors that they offer. The professors are the best for teaching the information needed for the exam. Also, you can get a job on campus working in the schools dairy, beef unit, or sheep unit.

Only rate this a B because most students use their own. When required the ones at the college are fine though.

The campus is one of the largest in the world. It has many of natures true wonders right on campus to include numerous deer and bald eagles.

Berry's on campus security is good for protecting its students. They do tend to frown on any alcohol consumption as to the true reason you are there is to learn.

Berry is a college that is continuously improving their facilities. There are numerous activities ranging from sports, art, music, dances and lots of opportunities for community service.

The academics are very good, very challenging at that.

There is hardly any diversity here at Berry College. One of the main reasons for that is because we are a small private school in North GA.
College Sophomore 2013-09-17T13:56:12Z
Now that the new freshman are here, there is no room for anything.

There are tons of opportunities here at Berry College. You just have to be willing to look and spend time finding them. Berry College does their very best to ensure that their students have what they need.

Guys & Girls:
Since getting the football team this year, the guy to girl ratio has seriously changed. Berry has a bad rep for guys being heavily outnumbered, but that's not the case anymore. Walking through campus, you see pretty much just as many guys as girls, and a lot of them are at least marginally attractive. At least for this year's freshman class, which includes most of the football team, there are plenty of options if you're outgoing and looking for someone unique.

Incredible academics! They are definitely challenging, but not impossible.

Having the largest campus in the world has its perks. We pay a relatively small fee and can park almost anywhere on campus. Of course the parking lots near certain academic buildings and the small one near the dining hall fill up fast, but the dorms are all within a mile of the buildings and dining hall, not to mention the enormous parking lot behind the cage (the athletic building) that I have never seen completely full. Parking is pretty easy!

We have great professors! They are all highly qualified and know their subject, most are very enthusiastic. They all are required to have a certain number of office hours a week and actually enjoy visits from students during office hours, they are ready to help, explain, or just talk. Workload can be a bit heavy and classes may be more challenging than other popular public state universities. Registration is always stressful but the college is helpful in making sure you reach all requirements. I am not familiar with all the study abroad options, but I do know, and am participating in, the honors college program where you can go to Glasgow in Scotland for a whole semester paying Berry tuition. I do know that you pay for all study abroad programs through Berry and most of the time scholarships earned can be applied to study abroad for at least one semester.

Berry is a very active school, although varsity sports are not that huge on campus we have a lot of school spirit and sporting events are always fun when attended. We have a lot of intermurals that range from very competitive to just for fun! We have a huge Athletic center with a well respected staff.
