College Prowler Take
Students at Binghamton are not regularly exposed to any major drugs, and the most common ones are alcohol and marijuana. But no matter what drug you are in to, you can probably find somebody to either buy from or sell to at Binghamton. As students say, it is not that drugs are a big deal on campus, but it is a big school, and there is a niche for just about any taste. Despite prevalent stereotypes about different communities being known for their drug scene, rest assured that drug use is not highly visible anywhere on campus. Like any college, Binghamton has its share of drug use and experimentation, and finding drugs is relatively simple. However, peer pressure is almost nonexistent, so steering clear of the scene altogether is just as easy. Students Speak Out

There's some drug use on campus, but I don't think it's too bad. The worst thing that could happen is getting stuck with a roommate who uses drugs when you don't.

I've met a lot of people that...
I've met a lot of people that mostly just smoke. There's a definite group that has different hot spots around campus. Everybody drinks, though. I haven't heard of any hard drugs.

The drug scene at Binghamton...
The drug scene at Binghamton University is not very noticeable. Students will occasionally smoke, but a majority do not. It really depends on who you hang out with. Many of the students drink on the weekends, however.
