- Get involved early in organizations

Traditions
- Caribbean Festival - This annual festival attracts visitors and performers from all over the country, as they come together to celebrate Caribbean pride.
- Purim Carnival - The annual Purim Carnival offers great games, rides, costume contests, and of course, delicious food.
- Spring Fling - The annual celebration of the return of warm weather, even though it often continues to snow after the event has passed. There is a carnival atmosphere with live music, and everyone comes out to enjoy the fun. There is also a concert by a popular musician—50 Cent last year, Nickelback the year before.
- Stepping on the Coat - This takes place during Spring Fling and signals the start of warm weather. A student takes off their coat and ceremoniously steps on it, extinguishing the cold weather once and for all.
