College Prowler Take
At first glance, some people may be intimidated by the number of attractive people on campus. But don’t let this facade fool you; not everyone is as perfect as they seem. Most students on campus are open to new relationships and are surprisingly non-stereotypical. Since the weather is warm most of the year, this is a great incentive to get out and be active, which is one of the best ways to meet guys or girls. Since this is the South, there are a lot of people who were raised with religious backgrounds. This usually means that you find people looking for real relationships as opposed to casual hookups. This is not meant to suggest that there aren’t students looking for some casual fun, though—there are plenty of hookups that go on in certain circles. Certain frats and sororities seem to date each other exclusively, but that’s definitely not the case with all of them.
The truth is, most people don’t come to BSC looking for hot bods. Most people come looking for lifelong love or an excellent educational experience. Since there are more girls than guys, it seems that guys have a pretty good chance of getting to know at least one special person before they graduate. Also, since there are other colleges and universities in the area, there’s a good chance you could meet college-age hotties somewhere else in the Birmingham area. Students Speak Out

Social Scene
Some students feel that if you don't go Greek, you end up as a geek. Since BSC is so small, however, there is a point where everyone gets to know everyone else. As far as social activity goes, most of it occurs at the fraternity houses or among athletic groups, but eventually everyone finds their own niche. Even though people are prone to hang with people of their major or from their dorm, most students are willing to take the chance to get know someone new, if the circumstances are favorable.
Hookups or Relationships?
There are a surprising number of people at BSC who are in relationships, but not necessarily with fellow BSC students. Hookups do occur, and there is always the opportunity, but if it happens, you'll probably hear about it later through the rumor mill.
Best Places to Meet Guys/Girls
Sometimes the best way to meet attractive people is to go work out, or just be available outside of the dorms. Eventually, you might spot that hottie you’ve been eyeing in class and decide to hang out at the Café afterwards. Then of course, there are weekly fraternity parties which, surprisingly, can have a variety of people to choose from.
Dress Code
A favorite T-shirt, a pair of flip-flops, and comfortable shorts is usually the way to go in the heat. Some students spend exorbitant amounts of time and money on perfecting their wardrobes, but those students aren't always so focused on their classes. There are some events on campus that require more proper than casual attire, but pajamas are just about as common as skirts or suits on campus
