Agriculture and Equestrian Teams

Our horse judging team won the AQHA congress and world competitions in 2011 and have always been very competitive thanks to the great coaching staff. The horse show team has individual students qualify for the national competition almost every year and in 2011 placed 3rd as a team at Nationals. The livestock and soils judging teams are also very competitive although I cannot list specific accomplishments. If you have an interest in agriculture I highly suggest you get involved in one of these teams.

A Very Dedicated Group of Students

Most students in agriculture related programs are on an extra-curricular team which takes up a lot of time, and most have at least 15 credit hours, and many work on campus. Free time is scarce but they realize that the hard work pays off. Everyone is accepting of other students. It is a small school so there are many tight knit groups but they are all willing to meet new friends and socialize with others.

Scholarships

The availability of scholarships is huge. The only problem is that there is no one there who is willing to sit down with you and walk you through the process of obtaining them
