There is a wide variety of off campus housing. Its normally available but not always the most convenient. I would say the cost is decent but the safety is minimal and the landlords are more times than not jerks!

Health & Safety:
Campus crime is normally minimal. If you feel the need to call campus security they are more than happy to escort you anywhere you need to go. I feel normally very safe on campus.

Financial aid was difficult figuring out how to apply and where to go for help.

Guys & Girls:
I feel that most people keep up with current fashions especially the girls. The guys mostly dress in athletic attire and everyone is always wearing something to show Huskie pride!

The campus computers are decently newer. The printing on campus is great. The network speed is decent and the wireless access is great. I would say its a good idea to own your own laptop because there aren't always ones available.

There are parties every Thursday through Sunday. I would say the underage nightlife is large but the transportation isn't great since the shuttles stop running after a certain time.

I would say that Greeks appear to do good but throw a lot of parties. I would say a lot of non-Greek students are indifferent toward Greek life. I would personally say that Greek students just throw parties and are kind of a waste of time. Greek houses are mostly run down old chapter houses.

All of the policies on campus are very strict. I would say Bloomsburg under the public eye and the police are always doing their jobs.
College Freshman 2013-11-12T02:20:35Z
I would say diversity is everywhere on campus. Most people accept everyone for whom they are but not everyone does.

The dorms are not that spacious but it's the social atmosphere that makes dorm life amazing.

Well the campus is located in the town of Bloomsburg which is located near the Susquehanna River and when the river floods so does the town and the campus is largely affected by that. Also when it snows or becomes icy campus is normally shut down.

Bloomsburg is a lot like my home town and the students remind me of the kids I grew up with. It has this hometown feel and I love that. The campus is based around its students and Bloomsburg University is a great school for that down to Earth feel. I always feel accepted at Bloomsburg. The food might not be the best and the buildings might not be the newest but honestly its the experience you get at Bloomsburg that counts. Whether that be getting to know your professors or getting to know the staff and making new friends constantly. Bloomsburg is by far the school for me.

Campus dining is alright. Although there are a lot of varieties the taste of the food really isn't that great.
There is a ton of fan support at Bloom U and a lot of school spirit too. Almost every student is involved in some type of athletic outlet or sport.

Student life is fairly average. The student center is fairly new and the library is awesome. There are a few coffee shops throughout campus and the library is a great place to study.

At Bloomsburg we basically just have the shuttle buses. It takes you to important destinations and the fare is included into your tuition. It doesn't go very long distances but is convenient for students that don't have their cars on campus.

Inter mural sports are a big thing, probably bigger than the varsity sports.

Greek Life is the center for blooms night life. Though they do a lot of community service and are extremely active on campus as well and they have to maintain a good GPA to do things within their chapters. There is also a wide range of nation and local Sororities and Fraternities. Non-Greeks are welcomed to parties but if you are not greek and if the parties get crowded you are kicked out also with you may not not be allowed I if they have a lot people in them. They are not cliquey but to be greek has a special understanding of respect to all the other greeks. Go Greek it will be the best decision of your life!

its a pain in the butt to register your computer and other things but once you're on you are good to go.
College Junior 2013-11-06T18:34:29Z
the night life in bloom is big so on the weekends places are open until 3am.
College Junior 2013-11-06T18:33:09Z
one of the best decision i made coming here it is close to home yet far away enough that no one comes here and you get to know your professors in your major very well.

the only "town" in PA it is cute.
College Freshman 2013-11-04T18:46:36Z
Wireless goes in and out in my bedroom but it seems to be fine everywhere else on campus. Tech support and registering your laptop is irritating, I had to go twice before my computer would work and it took forever each time. I would recommend bringing a laptop because the only computer labs on campus ar ein the library and at Kehr and if it's late at night and you need to submit a paper or something it's easier to have access to it in your room than to walk all the way across campus to the library which is only open til a certain time.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
