There is no public ransportation. Have your own car or walk.

On campus drugs aren't bad! Off campus is a completely different story.
College Junior 2013-12-10T06:32:06Z
There are spots pretty much everywhere.

Health & Safety:
Some things on campus can get a little wierd, but i feel comfortable here.
College Junior 2013-12-10T06:29:22Z
Lots of snow can damper some students spirits when wanting to travel home, but thats the price for coming to Bluefield.

I am part of an organization called SUB or the Student Union Board and we amke all the fun events and concerts on campus happen. I greatly enjoy making other students happy.

I love this school!! I wouldn't trade it for anything else.
College Junior 2013-12-10T06:18:27Z
I am part of a frat myself, and we come together with the campus to make some awesome things happen.
College Junior 2013-12-10T06:16:57Z
I enjoy supporting our teams as much as I can, when I can.
College Junior 2013-12-10T06:15:46Z
Sometimes it runs very smoothly, but others it is the worst!
College Junior 2013-12-10T06:14:37Z
It could be a little more strict with punishments. We seem to give a lot of warnings.

Bluefield College makes you feel like you are part of a family. You aren't just a student here! You are actually part of something bigger.
College Freshman 2013-12-03T05:56:51Z
Its mainly sports teams (Soccer) that need the transportation - we have to provide our own.
College Freshman 2013-12-03T05:55:45Z
Its great if you like fall-type weather. The school is in the mountains.
College Freshman 2013-12-03T05:55:02Z
Public drug use and partying is kept to a minimum.
College Freshman 2013-12-03T05:53:59Z
Nothing special - I do enjoy the ice-cream.
College Freshman 2013-12-03T05:53:14Z
Health & Safety:
No safety concerns. There is no on-campus medical facility save the physical therapy facility (for athletes).
College Freshman 2013-12-03T05:49:49Z
I have never felt like, restricted.. I don't know - I just kind of follow the rules.
College Freshman 2013-12-03T05:48:03Z
Most students are from Virginia, with the rare exception of the random international student. Not too many complaints here.
College Freshman 2013-12-03T05:46:47Z
Guys & Girls:
Since the school is pretty small, it is pretty much impossible to hide relationships from people. It is worth mentioning that it seems every attractive girl came to this school with a pre-existing relationship (kinda puts a damper on things you know?)
College Freshman 2013-12-03T05:43:59Z
The Greek life has no effect on student life.
College Freshman 2013-12-03T05:41:55Z
Parking situation is far, far better than Winthrop University - just felt like saying that. Parking permits are free to resident students; tickets are not too expensive.
College Freshman 2013-12-03T05:40:20Z
Mostly fast food/chain restaurants. No Arby's though :/
College Freshman 2013-12-03T05:38:57Z
I have my own computer(s), but from what I hear, the labs are ok.
College Freshman 2013-12-03T05:37:32Z
Classes are not too large. I have never felt like a 'number'. The professors pretty much know all of their students.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
