You’ll find more than your fair share of scrumptious eateries in Boston. Plant eaters take note: Vegan and vegetarian restaurants aren’t as available here as in California or New York. However, a new sushi restaurant recently opened in Cleveland Circle, providing a fresh alternative to burgers and pizza. Fresh seafood, surprisingly flavorful Mexican, and incredible Italian food can be found within walking distance from campus. Commonwealth Avenue runs adjacent to campus, and you can find a couple of above-average eateries there. Flatbreads serves amazing sandwiches for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The wrap-maker there is a wizard at making sandwiches efficiently and effectively. On the other side of the T depot is Mr. G’s College Sub Shop, which certainly isn’t Subway, but isn’t a bad alternative to eating in the dining hall either. Espresso Royale Caffe has great pastries and an enjoyable atmosphere. Travel a few minutes on the T down to Cleveland Circle, and you’ll find several delicious off-campus dining establishments. Roggie’s has an incredible atmosphere. CitySide Bar & Grille is the real gem of Cleveland Circle, with incredible salads, huge entrees, and a fantastic upstairs deck swarming with people, especially during the warmer months. Cleveland Circle is also home to Thai food, wraps, three competing pizza joints, and Eagle’s Deli, which is a favorite of Boston College students, many of whom stumble in on the weekends blurry-eyed, hung over, and in desperate need of complex carbohydrates. Eagle’s Deli never disappoints, and the Godzilla burger is exactly as it sounds: a monster. Check out the photos on the wall of all those who have attempted finishing the Godzilla. It’s Guinness Book material!

The restaurants off campus are...
The restaurants off campus are really good, and there are many different options for cuisine. There is also www.campusfood.com, which allows you to order in from the different restaurants. There are some great Italian restaurants in the city of Newton and in the North End in the city, but they are on the expensive side. There are some cheap pizza places around that are delicious and economical. There are also some great restaurants and bars on Commonwealth Avenue and Beacon Street and Harvard Avenue in Brighton, such as Zocalo and Joshua Tree. Other great spots for restaurants are Coolidge Corner and Cleveland Circle.

There are incredible restaurants...
There are incredible restaurants all over Boston. Near campus, Cleveland Circle offers a wide variety of delicious cuisine like pizza, sushi, and the #2 burger place in the world to pig out, Eagle's Deli. In Boston, there is incredible Italian food in the North End, the best seafood I've ever had on Union Street, and delicious ethnic restaurants all over the city. Boston is a great place to eat.

The restaurants are so good off campus. There are plenty of different choices close to campus and even better if you venture into the city. The best is Stephanie's on Newbury Street, but you have to take the T.
