College Prowler Take
The general feeling seems to be that Boston College is a wonderful school and an incredible experience. However, the first few years can be tough, as you may not be prepared for the enormity of the college experience. If you’re from a very diverse high school, you will certainly be shocked at the very different atmosphere that will surround you at BC. Furthermore, so many of your peers can appear like they’re having the time of their lives, and you might feel like you’re faking it, especially at first. Yet, staying the course is absolutely worth it, as Boston College is a wonderful institution with many dynamic people who will truly challenge and amaze you. If you give the school a little time to grow on you, it certainly will and you’ll be really glad you gave it
a chance. Also keep in mind that while parties and tailgates are enjoyable, they are not the only things college life is about. Yes, you want to have fun, and you will once you get to know people a little better, but there are other reasons you came here. Remember that you are going to college to receive an exceptional college education, and Boston College will certainly deliver that and then some. Friendships flourish, enriching academics abound, and you’ll walk away a changed person.

I love Boston College. It's full of well-rounded people who are able to balance their social life with academics. I wasn't even going to apply to BC—I just checked it off on the Common Application at the last second just for the heck of it. It was the best knee-jerk decision of my life.
