Best Things

  1. The size of BU. The sheer size of the University allows for a huge selection of courses, from French Regional Wines to Nietzsche to Stalking the Wild Mind.
  2. The professors.
  3. Domino's Pizza takes BU Convenience Points.
  4. Boston is a great college town, and the locals are highly entertaining; especially during Red Sox season.
  5. There are plenty of undergraduate research opportunities (a rarity at most American colleges) for any self-motivated individual.
  6. No Greek life.
  7. The food, both off campus and on, is better than most other colleges.
  8. West Campus cultivates that semi-campus feel.
  9. The way BU beach looks at night, and the way it is reminiscent of fake scenery, which, one could argue, it is. It is the best grass on campus.
  10. The intellectual atmosphere. This is the best environment for learning. If you are looking for more alternative methods of teaching, however, this is probably not the best thing for you.

So diverse.

There's so many international students from everywhere - Asia, Mexico, England, Brazil, India, etc. You can walk around and here different languages or accents, it's cool and interesting. Most international students tend to stick together though. BU is also diverse in terms of types of people. You can't really say BU is a preppy school or a hipster school ... there's ALL types of people.

Medium city with plenty of attractions right outside Boston University by taking the T. Very accessible to Newbury Street, MFA, and downtown Boston.

Beyond Satisfactory

The food at Boston university is good, and the cuisine is great, especially if you attend the West Campus dining hall. The variety is great, I couldn't imagine eating any better on campus anywhere. And if you ever do get tired of dining hall food, which is possible, you have plenty of options that will satisfy your need for extreme variety.
