Once upon a time, Bowdoin had a slight reputation for chemical research in drugs, but today, our campus is more known just for having a fair share of alcoholic beverages and marijuana. Although some hardcore drugs may be used on campus, it’s definitely kept private and hidden from mainstream of campus life. The pressure to participate is relatively tame. Students at Bowdoin respect the wishes of other students and will not put them in situations they are not comfortable in.

A lot of students, during training and athletic seasons, do not smoke pot and keep to alcohol, but most students experiment with pot while in college, and some might say that beer is consumed just as much as water during a night of partying. The drinking and smoking scene is pretty balanced in participation between guys and girls. The thing to remember is that participation is up to you. Students at Bowdoin are such individuals that they would not think of making you become involved if that is not your thing. Your peers will just hope you are having a good time doing whatever you plan on doing.

There's not to much drug activity.... There's not to much drug activity. Every once in a while people will smoke pot. It's easy to avoid. 12345 Report
