The campus is fairly compact. Almost everything is within a 5-minute walk, and everywhere (except for the facility at which the orchestra rehearses) is no more than 7 minutes away. It is only three acres bigger than a campus 40 minutes away with one-third the student body population.

Big enough to go for a walk around campus when you want, on a nice day. It also is small enough to get around within 5 minutes if you need to.

This campus isn't very big at all. There are about 6000 students, and all the buildings are located in a central area. From the dorms it can take only about 5 minutes to get all the way across campus.

There are about 5000 students here. Physically, it is a nice size. You can walk to/from any building within 10 minutes. Good size; not too big but not too small.

The bad news is that Bradley lacks in facilities—at least in the important ones—but the good news is administrators recognize this, and the campus is constantly changing. The to-do list is huge. Bradley announced its 15-year plan in August 2006, which is supposed to transform the look of campus. The Markin Family Student Recreation was added in 2008. Campus will also see a new parking deck, the renovation and expansion of Westlake Hall, a new Alumni Center, new student housing, and updates to engineering and business buildings.

However, even when the 15-year plan is finished, the campus will still need help. There's little landscaping, which makes the campus not very aesthetically pleasing, although it's mostly clean. And many buildings will still be outdated. The library is dreary, and its resources—books and technology—are subpar, and it's not on many people's lists of favorite places to study. The Michel Student Center needs help, too. There are few places to hang out, and it doesn't have any of the big-school services, such as a post office or bank. It has a couple of quick places to get a bite to eat, but nothing to get too excited about. There is also a small convenience store, a large ballroom, and a few places to sit and watch TV. However, it's not everything students expect in a student center.
