Off campus housing is way better then dorm life. You live in a house and can make it feel like your own home. There are plenty of options for single, double or triple rooms. Prices vary depending on how many people to a room and how nice the house looks. There are plenty of houses to choose from all in a close distance from the school. Landlords can be a those, I have had good landlords but I have had some friends with bad landlord stories.

As we are a very small school, it is not overly difficult to obtain off-campus housing. All of the available housing is conveniently close to campus, and, even more importantly, about a minute's walk from the beach. There is a grocery store and a few restaurants nearby, but the nearest clothing stores and malls will require a good drive or long bus ride. Overall, off-campus housing seems to be a good experience.

I am just now living Off-Campus this semester and arrived yesterday. It is wonderful, though be very careful who the landlord is. Some of the landlords down here are sketchy or will try to cram as many people into on house as possible, like 12 girls in one house.

There are a lot of off-campus housing offered close to the campus. Most are at a reasonable price for students, but can get expensive, it's Hawaii.
