| Advice on Finding a Job/Internship | |
1. Check around. A lot of times teachers or the tutoring center are looking for students to be TAs or tutors; asking your teachers about job openings can help you find something.
2. Do an internship. Several of the BYU-Idaho majors require internships, and all majors encourage students to complete at least one. Many lead to jobs or give you good experience to get a better job than you could have before.
3. Do an expedition. BYU-I offers an incredible opportunity for students to attend three-day expeditions to cities all over the country to learn more about major corporations and how students can prepare to intern there. The cities include New York, Chicago, Salt Lake City, Denver, Seattle, Washington D.C. and several more!
