I think that the education is very high quality for the price. However, a lot of the work that we have is busy work and not so much for our learning, but to differentiate us into different strata for grading purposes. But overall a great school and it very much depends on the class.

There are tons of concerts, cultural events, sporting events, dances, and activities for any interest group you can think of. Since it's a private church-owned school, everyone has the same general beliefs.

Everything I needed was within walking/bike riding distance.

The process of getting into my Anthropology major was completey painless. As long as you set it as your major, you are automatically selected. The classes tend to weed people out. Natural selection at its finest.

Provo is a very nice place to go to school because there are so many places that you can go that are less than an hour away, ex. Salt Lake City.

Even though we are the "#1 Stone Cold Sober School" in the nation every single year, we have a great deal of dances, fundraisers, dance clubs, and music venues that we are able to attend.

The places on and around campus are good. I don't usually eat out, but when I do, I am pleased.

I love the accounting program here at BYU. The teachers are definitely the best you'll find anywhere. You can't find a school that prepares you better for your career than BYU.

There Is a Lot to Schose from – There is lots of off-campus housing located within a mile of BYU. The closer you live to campus, the more expensive the apartments. There are some cheap places to live, but you pay what you get for: they aren't kept up very well. The social life is great no matter where you live though.

Printing is really convenient. There are plenty of printers around, especially if you know where to look. There are also lots of computers available, unless it's during midterms or finals, then they fill up really fast.

Parking is extremely limited. You usually have to park in one of the surrounding neighborhoods if you don't live close by.

It can get extremely cold and snowy during the winter and that is just not fun to walk around in.

The community of Brigham Young University gives an extremely high amount of support to the Athletic programs.

All of the computers and systems work well. The problem is that sometimes when everyone is trying to register for classes and such at the same time the connection is extremely slow because it is so busy.

It is hot and dry in the summer, and it is cold in the winter. Thunderstorms are practically non-existent. Snow and ice makes traveling to and from classes more complicated. It almost never rains, so walking is convenient.

Drugs are very limited at BYU. The honor code prohibits drug and alcohol use. Even smoking is prohibited. Most students avoid them anyway. Peer pressure is generally against drug use.

There are students from countries all over the world attending BYU. Most of the student population is, however, LDS. Students also come from various economic backgrounds. Many students share similar political and religious beliefs.

BYU Campus is beautiful and is always well maintained. The buildings are not of the greatest architectural caliber but they do the job.

Its a fairly cheap school, so finding minimal financial aid is pretty easy.

Provo is a great little, big town. There are plenty of things to do. And with recent bands like Imagine Dragons and Neon Trees coming out of Provo the music scene is booming.

The honor code really creates an atmosphere of responsibility. Students are encouraged to be responsible for their actions and adhere to a strict code of conduct. For the most part most students do well at keeping the honor code.

There are plenty of options besides driving. There are several public transit options that are reasonable priced and convenient.

For my major (neuroscience) it wasn't that hard. But there are some majors where it is terribly competitive to get in.

I've never seen it. When you go to a religious school you don't have to worry about these things as much.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
