Sporting events are a blast! There are always so many students involved and there is a lot of school spirit. Students love the athletic teams.

They are very strict about things that are included in the honor code and the rules. However, I think that it's a good thing that they do. It makes for a pleasanter and safer campus experience.

In Utah we experience all four seasons, but they are often very unpredictable. It does snow a lot, but for most of the year, the weather is really nice.

There are computer labs all over campus, especially in the library, so if you look hard enough you are sure to find one. There are also printing stations scattered through all the building on campus. The network is very reliable and relatively fast and there is wireless access everywhere. There is a pretty great need for a personal computer, but if you are not willing to purchase one, the university has a rental program that is very fairly priced.

This is a very well-respected school and the professors really know what they are talking about. As long as you are proactive in participating and talking to them, you will be good to go!

They're all a ton of fun! I'm very impressed with how well sports are run here.

Most live fairly close to the school, all you have to deal w/ is Winter snow.

Not visible at all. If you are caught consuming drugs or alcohol you will have a hearing with the dean and may be expelled. Not to say it doesn't happen in private, because I know it does.

Guys & Girls:
There is a level of narcissism and competitiveness. But other than that, there are many good-looking people, and most people there are very social. There is a dress code, so clothing is not usually revealing, but the styles vary by personality.

The nightlife is not anything like what you see in other colleges. Drinking and sex out of wedlock are prohibited. It's a place for wholesome fun, and as such, the students have more creativity when it comes to having a good time.

BYU students can be very unsportsmanlike-like during the games. If a ref makes a bad call, they won't stop booing for a while. There is usually a good turn out at the football games. The classes involving sports are fantastic. Great instructors. They also have intramural sports.

Almost every building or every other building has a computer lab. I think every building has WiFi. The library has a lot of computers. If you can't find one on the main floor then go up or down a floor and one should be available.

The education at BYU is phenomenal. I transferred here from Arizona State University (which still is regarded good for academics), but ASU doesn't even compare to BYU. The Professors are amazing and make me want to listen in class. The students are all brilliant and you must expect a very high standard set in every one of the classes. You will not find students who do not care about school here. The academics here at BYU are very difficult but are rewarding, even if your GPA doesn't reflect it.

There are so many awesome clubs, service groups, extracurricular activities, events, intramural sports, etc. It is impossible to feel bored if you really tap into the resources and opportunities offered you.

Provo isn't the most exciting place in the world. That being said, the people are so friendly and fun that most people find or make their own entertainment. Some activities include ski resorts, mountain hikes, dollar movie theater, club activities, sporting events, game nights, etc.

There are a lot of off-campus dining options, including fast food, cafes, restaurants, grocery stores, and more. Some student favorites include Cafe Rio and Zupas Cafe.

I have received a fair amount of scholarship assistance based on my GPA. It has been difficult, however, to receive any kind of needs-based financial aid.

You can always find things to do and people to hang out with, but there are many bars or clubs to go to in Provo.

As a predominately LDS school, there are few drugs on or around campus and most people are against them. This leads to a lot of drug safety.

Almost all of the sports on campus are very competitive from year to year. The one downside is the lack of a cohesive student organization to help out in football games.

There are a lot of parking spots around campus. However, the problem is that there aren't many good ways for people living off campus to get to campus, so everyone drives. That causes some havoc.

Guys & Girls:
Guys have better prospects than girls. There are tons of articulate, smart, attractive babes. A lot of the guys are stuck up and arrogant. Either that or they dress terribly.

It all depends on what you look for. Lots of people may be white, but they come from all over the US and have a broad array of experiences. Also, there are other ethnicities on campus, some people just don't pay attention because they want diversity to slap them in the face.

GREAT weather in the spring, summer, fall, but sometimes the winter is really sucky.

Brigham Young University is a nationally recognized school. The courses are hard. There are many options for majors.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
