There is absolutely no drug scene at Brigham Young University. It is seriously non-existant.

There are great bus systems in place and convenient bike paths to ride to school on. Parking is tough to get, but most students either walk or ride bicycles. Motorcycles are hard to ride in the long winter months in Utah. Cheap and easy.

Internships at BYU are great. They are tough and require work, yet enable students to enjoy and learn from them. Although unpaid, a lot of the time they are subsidized to help students with real intent go abroad or get a prestigious scholarship. The Cambodian international development internship took a lot of daytime but left night times free.

Surprisingly, there is a lot of ethnic and cultural diversity at BYU - more than people give it credit for. Although there are a lot of white, conservative Americans there are quite a few foreign students come to study and participate here. However, there are a lot of stereotypes due to the fact that, looking around, it does not appear so.

The process of getting into my major was relatively easy. There was no special application process and one could apply anytime, before or after applying to the school. Personally, I went through two years of school before declaring my major at which time I went into the academic advisor, meet with her, and, after a brief interview, was an international relations major. No essay, no requirements, no hassle.

There are always activities going on and almost everybody goes to them. Rugby, volleyball, girls soccer are best in country

There are a lot of places to eat, most of them cheap because of the colleges in the area, but also many nice restaurants if you want to go on a nice date

The honor code says it all, it is always enforced.

BYU is a pretty homogeneous group of people, but I would never say that it isn't tolerant or accepting of others. I think because it is a private religious school that expects strict adherence to certain commandments, that you generally have quite a bit in common with a person though you might be from different countries. I did not feel like I was stunted in personal growth by any lack of diversity.

There is always fun stuff going on, especially per apartment complex. Everyone seems to keep the social life alive at BYU. There is definitely not much bar/club scenes by Provo, but people still have a ton of fun at events, house parties, and the commercial strips nearby.

There are plenty of great places to live, but landlords can make all the difference. Definitely look at reviews on websites to see what they say about the managers. The prices are expensive for a place like Provo, but not crazy compared to other college towns.

Games are always fun, but football and basketball ALWAYS disappoint. EVERY YEAR

There is always parking... if you want to walk 15 minutes. You can usually find a closer spot if you just roam the lots for 15 minutes or so. I always walk to school though.

Guys & Girls:
There are a lot of attractive girls, but you have to compete with a bunch of tools to get them. But, I found my wife here so it can be done!

Pretty strict. I don't like every rule, but you know what you sign up for. Make sure you shave before a test...

I'm currently studying linguistics and I love the programs. They offer a pretty wide range of course and they seems to be constantly developing the program.

Public Transportation isnt very big in Utah. It is improving but it has a long way to go. As such, everyone uses cars and that creates a problem for parking. There could always be more parking at BYU.

Academics at BYU are above average. The LDS culture puts a great emphasis on learning and teaching and it reflects at BYU.
