Super Easy, Super Fast. All you have to do is apply online under the school website. You click "comprehensive" and you're applying for several different scholarships through that. You only fill out one form, and they'll figure out most things through that, whether you need aid because of income or because of grades, etc. If you are multicultural, or ethnic, you may have to apply for the multicultural scholarship through their office, but it's awesome. I know someone that got it, and they were only 1/4 Mexican. I'm 1/2 Korean, but I've never applied for that scholarship, sadly. My old roommate is full Cambodian, and she had the full scholarship for all 4 years of her college career.

Free Stuff! A lot of the time, you'll be walking on campus and there will be a free ice cream stand. So far with attending school here, I've had free hot dogs, free pizza, free gelato (or ice cream), free pet a llama (where they brought llamas onto campus), free dances, free drinks, and free candy. There are lots of fairs going on several times during the year, some performances from different clubs during the day, and even some random guy that dresses up in white pants and brings a boom box onto campus and pelvic thrusts to spice girls and miley cyrus. It was freaking hilarious.

Overall Pretty Good – Living on campus was pretty good. It wasn't the cleanest place, but it was alright. I didn't have too much of a problem with it.
Being freshman and all, we were all pretty roudy, and the biggest problem were the thin walls, but besides that, I loved how close everyone got. We were all a big family and it was a great experience. It helped me make more friends that I still have today.

This is my first year at BYU. I am staying at the King Henry Apartments off campus. But I love it there.
The cost for the bottom floors (Large floor plan) that Im in runs about $310 per month.
The facilities are great. They have a pool, hot tub, vollyball, clubhouse, large lawns, ect. Great social environment.
The rooms themselves are fully furnished and clean. I would recommend them to anyone!

Just because there are so many students, the labs and printers are very crowded. Most people have their own computers but require a printer to print off anything.

No Where to Park – It's just faster and easier to walk or ride your bike. Most places to park are quite a ways away from any of the buildings

STONE COLD SOBER! Since BYU is a church sponsered school, there is hardly if any drugs or alcohol problems. We know how to have fun without being stupid

Drug Free Is a Good Thing. I've never seen drugs nor alcohol in my time here. I know it does happen on occasion, but I've never cared to investigate who and where or when.

Health & Safety:
The police beat section of the paper is a joke. Really. It's one of the safest places I've ever been in. It is located in Provo, and most people are Christian. I'm guessing 40% of the population of the city are regular participants in their local church communities. I believe over 90% of campus students are Mormon.

Coputers Are Available Both in Department Specific Labs and General Labs – Departmental lab computers are equipped with additional software specific to needs of the department. These labs are amazing, are generally never crowded (unless during a scheduled class), are fairly high quality computers, and are upgraded with new computers every 2-3ish years.
More general labs have computers available that are decent, and there are enough labs around campus that a computer is available most times during the day. Most busy times have a small wait period to get on a computer.

Great Stepping Stone to Professional School – A lot of the Neuroscience majors are premed or other pre professionals. The required courses line up really well with the prerequisites most professional schools want you to take, so you don't have to take a bunch of extra classes, which is nice. The professors are pretty great for the most part, although classes sometimes are really big and they can't get to know everyone.

Health & Safety:
BYU provides a way for each student to get a health plan, which is required of all students. If the student already has a health plan, such as with their family, then it is easy for the student to opt out of the provided plan. It is inexpensive, and form-free!

My Car – I personally have my own car here on campus, which means I can go anywhere I want whenever I want. BYU Campus is really good at designating student parking that surrounds campus. There are also many bike racks at any given location, convenient for when I want to ride my bike!

Athletic Involvement – The athletics at my school are top-notch! The school provides easy ways for students to get involved, such as the cheap All-Sports Pass. There is a student section full of one heart and one spirit! It is all positive cheering for our own team, no negative booing for the other. We are even fairly nice to referees! I see a lot of faculty including the President of BYU often attending the sport games.

Lots to Choose from at a Good $$ – I love living off campus! There are many options for any budget. Most complexes are very social and people are always welcoming. You can go through the school's website to find the apartment for you.

Costly Attractions – There are many things to do here, however most things other than your typical movies and restaurants are pricy for a poor college student's budget. However, if you have a good group of friends you can always have fun staying at home and hanging out and finding things to do that do not break the bank!
College Sophomore 2012-08-25T04:21:09Z
Lots of Choices – There is always a variety of restaurants to choose from! The Cannon Center is as best as it can be seeing it is cafeteria food. The Cougar Eat gives you several restaurants to eat at for a quick bite in the student center. The vending machines are always well stocked and have good choices for an on-the-go bite.

Guys & Girls:
The Girls Are Attractive – For the most part the girls at BYU are all very attractive and fun loving. Just be prepared to make the first move. It's not that the girls are completely not outgoing, it's just that most are not used to having to make the first move.

It Is the Place to Be. Students love BYU sports. Perfect place for a date, or a just a good time with the friends. And BYU always has teams that are good so it makes it extra entertaining.

No Hoops Yet – To get in to my major, all I had to do was declare my major before taking any classes, so it was great to know what I wanted to do before I go to school. But if that is not your case, all you have to do is go to the admission office and ask to change. Simple as that.
College Senior 2012-08-22T06:25:34Z
It Is Your Choice – There are plenty of options. For all ranges of people; poor, rich, social, book worm, where ever and what ever you want can be found and usually for the price you are looking for.

You Never Know – There are 4 seasons which is something that you don't get everywhere. I love it but it isn't for everyone, like my wife.
College Senior 2012-08-22T06:13:47Z
Love What I Learn – Every day I go to class, although I know it is not going to be easy, I know that I am going to love what I learn. The teachers make it so it is understandable even though there are plenty of concepts that can be deep.

Everyone Has a Name. Even though there are so many students, professors go out of their way to learn their students by name and give everyone individual help if needed. These professors are eager to help in anyway. They set high expectations, but it is always possible to achieve success.

Labs Can Get Crowded, but You Can Usually Find Another One. Labs can get crazy during the busy crunch times, but the nice thing is that if you're willing to wander around a bit, you can always find another one in a different building.
