Pretty Good! There are many different options for food on campus at BYU. There is a large enough variety that you don't get bored very quickly. It's also relatively cheap most of the time. If you want a really good meal though for just a couple of bucks I recommend going to the Creamery and getting the "kid's" meal. You get enough food to fill an adult, AND you get ice cream too!

Health & Safety:
Comfortablly Safe – While on Campus I never have to worry about if I'm going to get mugged or not. The students and faculty are extremely kind, and would do anything to keep each other safe. Just don't walk on the outskirts of campus by yourself at night and keep your room locked up so that you don't mysteriously "loose" something while you're gone.

Having a Latter-day Saint culture, values at BYU like integrity, social interaction, service, and the LDS perspective of education, family, and the purpose of life really add something positive to the otherwise cumbersome experience of earning a degree defined by federal law.

A College Town - Food Everywhere! I haven't eaten much off-campus, but just driving around with my parents and walking on the outskirts of BYU I noticed how many food places there are, including the nearby Wendy's (cheap) and Brick Oven (expensive but great food).

How Should I Know? I've only been here a week. I said I was a freshman, but I wasn't asked how long I've been here. Some of my answers were speculative.

DRYEST SCHOOL IN USA! This campus has been rated the driest school five years running! We have fun that doesn't include drugs or alcohol.

With all 50 states represented, plus over 50 countries represented, BYU offers diversity to its students!

The rules are specifically laid out and if a student is found violating that, they are warned and asked to change their behavior.

Clean and Accessible – Everywhere I go is clean, smells fine, not too loud, and accessible to all students

Very Pleasant – Provo is an extremely carefree and happy city. All businesses cater towards students and make sure we're pleased.

Nice Apartments Are Expensive! Most apartments are old and fading. If you want a newly renovated apartment you have to pay a lot more then the usual price for off-campus apartments. Most are close to campus or have a bus system to get you on campus quickly. There are many to chose one and no one goes without.

Great Environment – BYU is full of students who love to learn and want to succeed, but even more so they want to serve each other. Everyone at this school is friendly and helpful, it is a great environment for learning and growing.

BYU is great for parking because you don't need to purchase a permit, just register your license online. There's always places to park, but they're far away. The great part is, it's free!

I love BYU! There's a fabulous library and tons of places to study and hang out around campus. The sports facilities are great and there's almost always some sort of event going on that's hosted by campus.

Social Life Without the Trouble – As you know, BYU is notorious for no sex, no drugs, no alcohol. Even though a lot of non-LDS students would be totally turned off at this idea, there are a lot of fun things to do on and off campus. BYU really puts forth effort to entertain the student body with concerts in Brigham Square and different dances.

Science at It's Best – If you take the time and effort and get to know the staff in the Science Dept., it really makes a difference. The staff is very willing to help you learn what you need to do.

May Seem Dull at First, but Give It a Chance – There's not much partying to be done in Provo, Utah, but head up to Salt Lake, and you're good to go. There's little fun things to do around BYU like bowling, movies, malls, live music, and jumping gyms.

BYU is the most well-rounded school I have ever heard about or attended. Learning and progressing is a vital mission of the school, whilst religion and social events are actually required. An atmosphere of complete balance in the progression of every individual defines the quality of Brigham Young University and the life I have experienced there.

Health & Safety:
As a female student at BYU, I have never felt threatened or unsafe on, or anywhere near the campus. Police are constantly on patrol around dorm parking lots and many ride bikes around campus. When there is something questionable going on, a program is used to alert students via text and email.

Open to Everyone – The Chemistry department is open to anyone who wants to be a chemistry major. There are no program entrance requirements, but the first several classes are very difficult-not on purpose, but just that's how chemistry classes need to be.

Knowledgeable and Friendly – Most of the professors at Brigham Young University are great. Sure, you can find the occasional one you don't like, but by and large the faculty is warm and willing to help. The quality of the education is amazing

Good People at Their Best – Provo isn't the largest city, but it is a very friendly and safe area. The people are almost always kind and willing to help and while there isn't always a great number of things to do, there is a safe environment to make up your own fun.

Mechanical Engineering – Always fun and entertaining. There is always someone willing to help you. If the work gets tough, it's easy to ask for help. Everything is convenient. Usually lots of internship opportunities.

Mechanical Engineering – My major is tons of fun with hands on projects and great classes. The workload isn't bad at all. There are also plenty of opportunities for internships.
