  • BYU requires students living off campus to live by the BYU residential living standards. The University has a list of the following guidelines for students who live off campus: (1) Visitors of the opposite sex are only allowed in the living room and kitchen and are not allowed to use the bathroom; (2) Visiting hours are 9 a.m. to 12 midnight, or 1:30 a.m. on Fridays; (3) Students must abide by the BYU Honor Code; (4) Students are expected to follow the dress code; (5) Students are responsible for keeping their guests to these guidelines.
  • BYU has approved 1,565 landlords and 5,785 living units for single students, and the University will inspect off-campus housing units for compliance upon request.
