I think that my school is extremely diverse. Where the school is located and the avalibility it has to students directly effected that. On campus there is a mixture of all ethnic groups, sexual orientations and I'm sure many other things. It's nice that no one sticks out like a sore thumb on campus.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
My issue with the school was not the fact that I didn't recieve financial aid, but rather the fact that those who do recieve it are aloud to spend it so foolishly. While at the school I have worked in the book store, students financial aid money can buy not only books but food, candy, sweatshirts, and even gift cards to other places. They don't have to pay a dime of that money back.

All of my credits from college classes I took in high school transffered easily and without a hassle with was a huge relief. Teachers are also really accommodating. If you have a ligament reason why a paper isn't done or you cant be in class they are really understanding and do what they can to assist you in getting all your work done.

I think with my school it is really great that there is a Deaf Studies program because it is hard to find a good inexpensive one in the area. As it is my first semester I can only speak to the abilities of five Professors so far. All of my professors in my major are FANTASTIC they all are so interested in the students doing the best they can and getting the most out of the program. Other teachers those, for the general courses, have been less than interesting. They seem to only be worried about you showing up to class and not too much about if you are ENJOYING your classes.

At my college only a Associates Degree is avalible but the professors are all there to get you to the next level and teach you enough so you are able to get into a four year university. The best part of my program is that everyone is required to go to Deaf Events. This Deaf Events helped the students become engrained into the Deaf world and se what it is really like to be a part of the unique community.

Interesting way to learn and a new an innovative approach to what was going on. Peer interacted with discussion boards and sometimes needed to grade each others work thus making everyone work together. The teach was generally very clear on what was due and when. The program BCC uses, ELearning, has the capability to use many folders and occasional my professor went a little over board with folders.

Here at Bristol Community College I've experienced the best couple months in my academic career. In high school I was a good student but I just didn't succeed when it came to my grades. In my English class, which used to be my least favorite class is now my best. I currently received the best essay grade in class twice in a row. I was late in the year to schedule my classes but still got to plan it around my work schedule. I haven't yet transferred credits but i plan to do so considering this college I'm currently enrolled in doesn't offer my major.

I have so far only taken one online class, and I was very nervous because I am a visual person; however, I was surprised at how communicative the professor was which made assignments and deadlines go through very smoothly.

I have learned so much here at BCC, some classes were easy, considering my own knowledge, and some were challenging, which is academically excellent. I enjoyed learning here and getting my pre-requisite classes out of the way.

I've never used the career service here at BCC, so I can't really say too much about it, but I've heard it's very helpful for those who have needed it and who have used it.

Bristol Community College was a good stepping stone to help me reach my full potential to go out into the real world. The classes were fair, some were challenging which is excellent. The Mass Transfer Program is exceptional is assisting me to transfer to another 4 year institution. BCC was a good idea right out of high school, especially since I wasn't fully ready for a university.

i have never taken an online course but I've heard good things about it such as its easy to set up. Its a great thing to offer to parents and full-time workers that don't have time to drive to campus everyday.

Because i go to the New Bedford campus and it is smaller than the Fall river one you get to know your classmates and teachers more personally and grow lots of friendships in your classes. The teachers love what they do and want the best for their students.

the student body is very close since we live in the same community of four-five different towns so we share alot of the same knowledge of the area

Tuition & Financial Aid:
In-state tuition is very low even for it being a community college; financial aid is plentiful if you look and make the effort and the aid office is extremely helpful if you are polite and persistent.

The gym is newly renovated although tiny, due to it being a commuter campus. The library is continually improving and there are many study spaces throughout the campus.

Campus resources are great and very helpful, although you really have to make the effort to learn about all of the available resources to you.

Although information on the labs and printers along with what software/hardware is available within each lab are difficult to come by, if you ask any staff member you will be in good hands and well informed.

Some instructors use different interfaces than the school intends and you end up wasting time doing the necessary training.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
Tuition and financial aid at the school are friendly and helpful and able to explain and answer any questions you may have. Also can get things done quickly right there, especially at the main campus.

The academic experiences of the school has been an enjoyable one. The classes varied with difficulty, and you could push yourself as much as you wished. For example with 3d modeling, if you wanted to go all out, and create textures, uvw map them and get all the layers on them you could. The class covered the basics and introduces students to rigging and animation. The academic classes were great and the instructors and professors would take the time to answer questions. To ensure you understand. Even taking time after class to set up a time to help you understand things more.

My major being a Game design major, which is under the Computer Information Systems was by far the easiest school experience I've had. I learned a lot, but having played games and being technically inclined I was able to pick up the skills and do pretty well. Hardest parts were the programming where it got to be a bit of a crunch time but overall it was a satisfying experience.

There are a lot of resources to be used at Bristol Community College's campus are varied, a computer lab which can be used between classes, the library has computers that can be used for research, a cafe for general web access and getting together for projects. Printers in the library to print papers. Wireless access is stable and the speeds though vary are dependable and can be accessed anywhere on campus basically.

I feel the online classes make learning a lot easier since it's mostly on my time ans whether or not I do well depends on me. It feels more free.

My school has a commonwealth honors program where the brighter students are invited to challenge themselves throughout college.
