I have never taken an online class. Although, many professors teach both online and in-person classes. I have only heard good things.

I've taken three online courses with BCC (one was a hybrid though, so we met three times throughout the semester). I took statistics which was self explanatory and we worked out of the textbooks websites, however the teacher did make himself available, via email or in person, if we needed help. My hybrid course was for a college success class, it went pretty well. The teacher would respond to questions and grade in a timely manner. My last course I took was a psychology class, the teacher sometimes didn't respond for a week or two which was sometimes aggravating.

Interesting way to learn and a new an innovative approach to what was going on. Peer interacted with discussion boards and sometimes needed to grade each others work thus making everyone work together. The teach was generally very clear on what was due and when. The program BCC uses, ELearning, has the capability to use many folders and occasional my professor went a little over board with folders.

I have so far only taken one online class, and I was very nervous because I am a visual person; however, I was surprised at how communicative the professor was which made assignments and deadlines go through very smoothly.

i have never taken an online course but I've heard good things about it such as its easy to set up. Its a great thing to offer to parents and full-time workers that don't have time to drive to campus everyday.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
