BCC is OK to attend if you are trying to get pre-req classes done in order to get into a program. These classes are easy to pass, have minimal homework, and the teachers show up when they want to. It is a cheaper school (obviously) and it is easy to maintain a good grade at this school, which helps when applying for a tough program (like nursing) but I would not expect to learn much from this school. Some of the teachers barely know the material they are trying to teach, some strictly play youtube videos during class to "teach" and others practically give you the answers on the tests. The teachers also have a schedule of their own... they show up when they want to! I would not recommend anyone going to this school for anything other then a cheaper way to get your pre-req classes done.

As a community college we have a very diverse student population. We have adults returning to school, because they discovered they did not enjoy the career they were previously in, or they got laid off and needed to enter a new area of study. We have students who go to school to figure themselves out - as in many cases high school isn't decisive enough to determine what area students wanted to study. We have students who cannot afford to transfer to a traditional 4-year university or college, and BCC is their gateway. We have students who did not take high school as seriously as they should, and BCC is their second chance - another chance at education. The levels of acceptance at BCC is great. The school is filled with people of all sorts and all backgrounds. The school is really what you make of it. If you want to have a good experience, don't fret because it's a community college - get involved and have a good experience. It's there for you.

My school consist of different types of cultures and we are all treated the same. Either you study get good grades or don't and fail this depends on you and not your cultural background.

I think that my school is extremely diverse. Where the school is located and the avalibility it has to students directly effected that. On campus there is a mixture of all ethnic groups, sexual orientations and I'm sure many other things. It's nice that no one sticks out like a sore thumb on campus.

the student body is very close since we live in the same community of four-five different towns so we share alot of the same knowledge of the area
Sorry, there are no reviews.
