It has been a good experience. I know if I ever need anything, someone is always willing to assist me, inside or outside of the classroom.

I hold a 3.78 GPA as for being in my fourth month! I love only having to take one course at a time. There are no scheduling conflicts with studying for multiple classes. Being a night student, I don't care for getting home late, but so far it has been worth it. I miss my kids while I'm in school, but I know BMC will get me my degree on time so I don't miss my time with them later.

I think the professors are very accessible to the students. Our classes are small and we have their phone #s and email addresses and they seem very helpful.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
I have attended other schools in the past and I have to say that the financial aide part was the best experience 1 I have ever had concerning tuition. They made it painless by explaining things in detail and walking you through step by step

1 course a month! Its the only college I know that does this and I think its great
College Senior 2013-10-20T23:05:14Z
Its great to be a Medical Assistant major at Brown Mackie we only take 1 course a month an even though that seems fast, its good because it enables you to work a full time job and attend school full time which is great I love it. I can't wait to get in my actual labs to learn skills like drawing blood, giving shots and etc. I will also have a chance to showcase my skills when I attend my externship program and hopefully will be offered a job at my externship site.

All we have is a library and a very small break room. Not much to offer. But in the schools defense we only take 1 course a month so other than eating lunch or having a snack during classes 10 to 15 minute breaks we don't need much space.

The computer labs are great, everything is great but it is difficult to print in the classroom labs (hence the A-) All computers in that room should be automatically connected to that printer and they are not . You have to tell the computer to use that printer.

I only know what others have told me about my school. They say the online classes are great and you have feed back from the teachers when ever you need it.

Even before you finish your degree, there are staff that help you put together your resume and help with job prospects. The career choices are the best I've seen. You are certainly not a number to the staff at Brown Mackie.

The concept of Brown Mackie is one course at a time. This is great in many ways. The student is able to fully concentrate on the subject they have and not have to juggle two or three other classes at the same time. The staff is always there for the student. The Dean has an open door policy as well as the President of the school. The student is able to see what their chosen field is going to be like when they do their lab work outside of the school.

The computer lab next to the library is always open to students. The wifi is accessible and top speed. Every computer lab has its own printer which is a great, so when you print you don't have to look for your paper.
College Junior 2013-10-17T19:00:18Z
The library is fully staffed and has a great selection of material. There are several activities with different clubs. The atmosphere of the school is that of always being there for the students. The computer labs are awesome. All the medical labs are updated and very much like those the student will eventually work at.

I'm a criminal justice major and will graduate February 2013. I'm glad to say Brown Mackie takes a lot of pride making sure your major will benefit every class you take, which I love because my main focus is only criminal justice and I've learned so much.

Brown Mackie has made my transition so easy. They requested my transcripts from previous schools and they handled my schedule. All I had to do was show up! Almost every week before school started, an administrative representative would call me to make sure I had everything I needed and asked if I had any questions. I also received a hand written note of encouragement. I have been impressed with everything at this school so far!
Sorry, there are no reviews.
