The campus is not huge but no matter what you need, there is always a helping hand. The library is great for studying, research, and technical support.

This school has classes that are once a month. You only work on one subject a month them move on to another one.

I like how all of your classes are already assigned to you so you don't have to worry about taking the wrong class at the wrong time. It is difficult to have someone else make your schedule for you because then you are not able to take a break from a subject and move to another. I have enjoyed most of my professors, though some have been very lax in their grading system, or even showing up for class, which made wanting to attend those classes difficult. I enjoy the way our teachers show us by example what we need to be learning and how we need to interact with others. There are many times when a teacher has become frustrated with certain students, but not once has a teacher become rude or knowingly upset. The workload of the classes vary, I had one class in which we needed to read and annotate three essays and write two 750 word essays in two days. This was difficult for most of my classmates and myself because we all have full time jobs and families outside of school.

I have not had any interaction with Career Services, but I know of other people who have worked with them and had great success.

I have had some wonderful teachers at this college, but also have some professors who should not have been teaching. I understand college is supposed to be more difficult than High School, but there is a line when you are in an introductory class and the professor expects you to do graduate level work.

There is a wide variety of types of people who attend this college. Many people have things in common, but each person has a different background. Lots of people in this college have a family and are returning students, either they never obtained a degree previously or they are working on earning another degree.

There always seems to be computers ready for use and printing on campus is easy as well. I gave this a B because if there are many students on the network at once it can run rather slow which can be difficult when trying to keep up in class.

There is library that is rather small but very useful. There are no cafes or anything to eat or drink besdies vending machines. There are no fitness centers or student centers where students can just hang out.

Some unique things at Brown Mackie are all the resources that are there to help with research papers. We get access to things that the average student can't get into.

My fellow classmates are great. I've met a lot of nice people. It's awesome to talk to them and learn that we share the same excitement towards learning our new professions. Most of them work full-time and work hard at getting their work done and succeed. They are supportive towards one another and open to help in any way they can. I could not be in a better school. I am so happy to be there.

My experience with on line courses is that you have to disciplined. You have to be excellent with self-management. Being able to give yourself the amount of time needed to accommodate an online is not an easy task. But I did enjoy the challenge of being to make my own schedule to make sure a accomplished every assignment.

The career service at Brown Mackie is there to assist you from your first day a class. You must have a current résumé on file at the school. They have regular resume workshops as well as job search computers and material always available. Every student must do an externship in their field of study before the graduate. Brown Mackie insist on students networking through out their college career. And possibly interning or working in your field to gain experience while in school. My campus is very diverse. With traditional and non-traditional students interacting daily with each other and staff. There are many ethnic, religious, racial and cultural groups represented at the school. We come from different backgrounds to come together as one community to improve or better are career choices.

The main reason I chose this school was because the hours are flexible, leaving you plenty time to study. The classroom sizes are small and the teachers are very helpful.

There are alot of resources on campus, they have a career services center that help you with resume writing and job research. the liberary is open, they have books that help you with your essay writing. It is also used for a place of studying and tutoring. Depending on your degree interest you can join a club, bake sale, sell food, candy, to help support your program. We have ceremonies that acknowledges people on their grade point average, people who have made the deans list who get rewarded.

The academic programs are very informational, everyone here is very friendly, and helpful, what ever you need they are their for you. You can also meet alot of people throughout different courses.
