The CPU labs and the campus itself is on free WIFI. It helps that there is a separate connection for the students. The campus resources of printing and internet connections are really good. you have a lot of those capabilities in the library.

The school does not have a sports team of any kind, but we have a mascot, the lion. The student center is the lunch break area, nothing special there. Library is nice, lots of resources available and CPU's to use as well. Not really a campus so there is no campus life to talk about. It's in a building shared by a bank and some corporate offices.

The professors are available for help when you ask for it. They are more than accommodating. The curriculum is fast and helps to feel as if your degree is being completed faster. The workload is average, some teachers are more homework "happy" than others. Registrations is done for you , but you can talk with your advisor if you need to switch a class. There are a lot of programs in the school to help with getting through your studies.

I've been there already my 2 yrs. the teachers I've had there was one who had no sense of humor, is very rude and yells. I've asked to see the dean as well and never returned my call to set up an appointment the school is not as good as I thought, the teachers allow students to miss be have a lot.

Computers and resources are all very easily accessible, however, the internet is extrememly slow.

Being that there is only ONE course a month, it is pretty flexible to manage my lie around school. I haven't really gotten into my major classes yet, just the basics so far. I'd say things are pretty swell.

There is a mixture of individuals. Most work full time with families and other things to do on the side. Everyone is pretty friendly for the most part and will give a smile or a wave as received.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
I just started in October 2012, the instructors I've had have been well educated but they are a bit confusing with what they're saying at times. I feel maybe some instructors should fit in better teaching a different subject than the one they're currently conducting, but it's a good school nonetheless.

In the past year and a half, there has been way too many Instructors coming in and out of Brown Mackie. The Instructors that are hired are not educated properly and some of them do not have the people skills they need to work in a classroom and they show no enthusiasim and it shows that the college itself does not even care who they hire. An Instructor can have many college degrees, but they need to have the passion and the want to teach. They should not be in the field just for the money. The customer service stinks at BMC San Antonio ! The Allied health chair person has no clue on how to run a Dept. He says his door is always open and he will listen if you have problems. Well he listens all right and then he goes behind your back and laughs at what you had to say to him. Usually when students go to him they are complaining about him. He calls students " Sweetheart" and "Honey" . That could be construde as sexual harrasment words, and needs to be gone from Brown Mackie.

Big Turn Over With Instructors – Since November 2010 when I started at Brown Mackie SA there has been more teachers come and go some of them getting fired for stupid reasons. You can't trust anyone at the school, they tell you one thing and then turn around and say they didn't say that. They advertice hands on training , but that is a total lie also. I have 8 more months to go until i am finished, but i am ready to give it up and leave Brown Mackie and find a better college with more personable people skills.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
