Although I know that college is high, I really didnt expect that the tuition would increase 4 months after i enrolled. We are expected to buy 3 months of books on 500.00 and from my understanding from some students there are some books that take most of that money. I know that one book I recently got was 259.00 for one class. We use them for 30 days, thats it!! I look online for books cheaper if I can find them I buy them elsewhere. I just hope there is not another increase before I graduate next year I will not be able to stay enrolled and I already receive the max aid that I can get.

The tuition for Brown Mackie College is extremelely expensive per credit hour. The college is for profit so you are making up for the lack of state funding in tuition. The financial aid department works very well with students to explore all the options they have to fund their education. I am returning to college because my bachelors degree has not been effective in the work world. Because of my bachelors degree I am unable to recieve grant money and must entirely fund my current school with loans, scholarships, and out of pocket money. This is difficult because the tuition is so high. The school has worked hard to help me get started quickly and through the program quickly. At Brown Mackie College I will recieve a degree that will make me highly employable. All of these reasons combined has made the high cost per credit hour worth the money for me.
