Still new, but we did have career portfolio day. It was my first one but there are four sections to it all together. You take do one each semester if you have a corresponding class.

The nursing program is pretty good. Registration cannot be done online so our advisor schedules our classes for us so you get what they pick. You have an option as to which liberal arts courses you take but the teachers aren't posted so you aren't able to pick who you want.
Even though the program is quite difficult the professors are always there for you and special seminars are offered for extra assistance.

I love that the classes are super small! The teachers actually know who you are and are actually interested in your success. One major unique aspect are the extras.
The librarian keeps a basket of candy on her desk so you can go help yourself. Stress balls were being handed out when there were about 4 weeks left in the semester.
There is also a Portfolio Development Day where classes are canceled for the day, you receive training in different areas, as you get closer to graduation there are mock interviews with real employers and they give you an awesome lunch. They also have fun things throughout the semester to show that they appreciate their students.

The majority of students are very friendly, and work well together. There are the not so nice individuals that have their own cliques. The most frustrating ones are those who do not take the classes seriously.

There is a ton of extra help available to students whether it be the resource center, librarians to proofread papers or the instructors themselves. Negatives are the network can be a bit slow and the library is tiny but the online resources are excellent.
College Freshman 2013-07-24T11:47:20Z
Our student population is VERY diverse. There is a good mix of all ethnicities. A typical student ranges from 18 to 40 years of age. Each with their own contributions to make and instructors to encourage them. The level of acceptance is campus wide and I feel that we all get along very well./ We understand that we all have the same overall goal, to graduate. With that in mind it's easy to see past religion, race or other obstacle and help a fellow classmate. I see it a lot at our campus, not jsut from students either and it makes me proud.
College Freshman 2013-07-24T11:42:06Z
I have not yet taken online course with Bryant and Stratton. But if it is as well coordinated as the actual campus, then I know my experience will be just as positive.

My campus' computer network and labs are great. I haven't yet experienced a period of no internet access yet. When there is a log-in problem or other computer related issue, the IT's are there in minutes of calling them. The speed of network is good. If I need help navigating a program or resource on the computer there is always a school representative that I can ask for help from. Wireless access is available all over the school and I have yet to experience a problem with it. Printing is free as long as it is school related. We also receive free scanning of text books that are required to stay in the library. Not only do we have computer labs that we can use, but if our teacher want us to type an assignment in class, there are carts of laptops that our teachers can check-out and allow us to use during class. We are even able to check them out if there is lull between class time and we want to work on something without having to be in a resource center!
College Freshman 2013-07-24T11:34:23Z
There are two resources centers, two libraries and student services is available until 9pm at night. There is ALWAYS a computer available if I need one. We also have scheduled tutoring where our actual instructors are available for a certain time slot and we can walk-in for subjects we may need more help with. Our deans are in touch with us via email and even cell phone if you so choose. We see them a lot in the halls and other school representatives too, which makes me feel like they really do want to be involved. The availability of someone to reach out to is wonderful, whether for tutoring or just support in getting through the tough parts.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
Financial aid is never fun no matter where you are at or applying for it. One of the things I really enjoy about our financial aid at Bryant and Stratton is that the specialist sat down with me, explained all of my options, showed me every expense I would incur first, then showed me how to apply for financial aid. After completing the application process, my financial aid officer explained to me how much I was eligible for and how it would be applied in a spreadsheet so I could SEE where the money was going. Then after it was all said and done, I received a copy of the spreadsheet for my records and I was still able to contact my financial officer if I had any other questions. My tip for getting financial aid from Bryant and Stratton is just walk-in or call to make an appointment with a financial aid officer. They will guide you through the process and take the stress and guess work out of it. When I was finished I felt like I knew exactly how much I was borrowing and how much was grant money. It was good to be in control.

My school is very involved with the students. I really enjoy the availability of a tutoring schedule that informs me of when there is tutoring available for me to just walk -in. The fact that I can request more if I feel that I still need more help is also great. We also have a class called FYE that has been excellent for teaching strategies for studying, money management, time management, relaxation, how to apply for scholarships (that's why I'm here) and other very useful resources and tips. The class is designed for first year students and really does go the distance to educate students about what is available from the school and outside resources.

Bryant & Stratton College I feel like is a great school they have a great student to teacher ratio. That's what I need in some of these harder classes. Great business course

Students with full-time jobs and families mainly comprise my school. Mothers and fathers who are not satisfied with their careers choose to enroll in this college to make a better life for themselves and for their families. While not many students are first-time college students, diversity still exists among students' beliefs and sexuality.

My major is RN registered nurse. This seems to be a very popular program. They are mostly females but a sprinkle of one or two males. The nursing students are very close nit and heavily rely on one another. We share stories and it helps us get through.

My school consist of mothers, fathers and some high school graduates. We all seem like we have jobs and families to deal with. We all are for the most part positive.

The school is all around. The school is very diverse. You can find all nationalities and different religions in the school.

I've been with the school for quite some time. The registration is fast and easy and you have the financial advisor helping you with any questions and concerns about your tuition. They academic advisors help with you with any situation with classes and how to accomodate classes for me since I am working adult. Plus, the school has a children's college, where your children can attend while you're in class. You have the one-on-one with the professor which is great if you have any questions. Also, the classes are small and more attentive to me when there are larger classes. I recommend the school to anyone.

I choose this school because, I needed a small environment after being out of school for a while, after attending for the first year, I totally feel in love with the helpful staff and students, although there is a lack of student majors. This school is a great stepping stone to help you prosper in your future.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
Although the education that I have learned is well worth a great percentage of financial aid, however the school is a secondary school and truely over priced
College Senior 2013-04-05T21:03:16Z
The library is easily accesible and it makes things convenient to be able to access the virtual library from any computer.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
I know that in the long run the education is going to help me earn a living for my family. Right now I do feel a little overwhelmed with the amount of debt I will have coming out of school but I know that nothing is handed to you so one must use the cards dealt to them. Everything was really easy at the school to get the financial aide processed and the loans approved but I just wish it wasn't so expensive.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
