Student Author OverviewWhat's This?
The facilities on campus are very modern, fairly new, in great condition, and constantly improving. Buildings are equipped with the latest technology and are renovated every couple of years. The Douglas and Judith Krupp Library—located in the George E. Bello Center for Information and Technology—is a state-of-the-art facility with thousands of books, several classrooms, plenty of study rooms, and computers. It is filled with resources for students to use and is always a great quiet place for students to work. The Koffler Center and Communications Complex is home to several computer labs, a television studio, a control room, and an editing studio. The Elizabeth and Malcolm Chace Wellness and Athletic Center is equipped with a competition-sized pool, fitness center, exercise studio/dance room, basketball and racquetball courts, athlete-only weight room, and a Multipurpose Athletic Center.
The Unistructure houses the large majority of classrooms, faculty offices, learning labs, Salmanson Dining Hall, and Janikies Theater. Classrooms are all very well maintained and have the latest technology for teachers and students, including computers, overhead projectors, and plugs for power and high-speed Internet at most seats. The Bryant Center is most popular for its dining options and multipurpose rooms. It is also home to the bookstore, the Intercultural Center, the Center for Student Involvement, the Women's Center, Commuter Connection, and several other offices for the larger campus organizations. Although the Bryant Center is technically the student center, the main area of student activity during the day is the Rotunda (Roto for short), where students hang out between classes and many clubs and orgs set up events and tables throughout the day. The Interfaith Center includes a worship area, a multipurpose room, and a meditation room.
