Most Popular Sports
The rugby team is the most popular and most accomplished team on campus. They are one of the few teams on campus to attract a spectator following, even though their field has few seats. Fans are usually willing to stand or sit in the wet grass.
Most Overlooked Teams
Few sports teams at Bryn Mawr can boast not being overlooked.
School Spirit
School spirit is always high during Traditions. During the rest of the year, school spirit is a lot more subtle. More apparent on a daily basis is "department spirit," demonstrated by department T-shirts and most students' excitement when talking about their major. Athletes are also a spirited bunch, though sports are not a basis for school spirit like at larger universities. The honor code also generates a lot of pride, as it is one of the strongest in the U.S. Overall, there is a lot of pride about Bryn Mawr's academic strengths, and though the grumbling about the work we have sometimes muffles the evidence, Mawrters wouldn't have it any other way.
Getting Tickets
You do not need a ticket; just show up for the games.
