Internships? Two! I had two internships through Bryn Mawr during my Junior and Senior years. Both were off-campus and were substitutes for my work-study, but both experiences were amazing. I worked with two separate nonprofit organizations in Philadelphia typically two days a week for about 6 hours a day. During one internship, I prepared taxes for low-income residents of Philadelphia and for the other I worked at a refugee/immigrant services nonprofit as a program assistant. I was paid for my work because it was part of my work-study, but I'm not sure how other internships work on or off-campus.
