College Prowler Take
Just like most college campuses in the country, there’s drug use at Bucknell, but it’s certainly not very visible on campus or at parties. Marijuana is fairly typical, but students will usually smoke it in privacy. Often, after a night out, students will go back to their room or house and smoke, but it doesn’t seem that there are many Bucknellians who are “potheads” and smoke daily. Occasionally, you might catch the scent of pot wafting down your hall, but other than that, you could go all four years at Bucknell without witnessing drug use. There are some groups that are notorious for cocaine usage. But again, you won’t likely encounter this unless you want to. Students do not really talk about it too much, and there is not any peer pressure unless you choose to be a part of that group. Sometimes you might hear a student say they took Adderall or other caffeine pills before a test in order to stay up and study. Overall, though, if the typical Bucknellian wants to be under the influence, they’re going to choose alcohol.

Everyone Drinks, but Drugs Not So Much
B
The vast majority of students here drink, with quite a few binge drinking. I wouldn't say that there is pressure to drink, however. Rumor has it that one sorority has a cocaine habit, but the only drug use I've actually heard about is occasional pot smoking, which definitely is not all that prevalent and there is no pressure.

Drugs aren't really a significant...
Drugs aren't really a significant part of student life at Bucknell at all, unless you want to count alcohol. Some students might get bored sometimes and smoke pot, but that's about it. A few people smoke. Mostly everyone drinks. I hear rumors about people doing coke, but I don't know of anyone first-hand.

Drinking is by far more popular...
Drinking is by far more popular than smoking, seeing as that almost everyone I know drinks. If you're looking for people to smoke weed with, you can definitely find someone, but it's not something that everyone's doing. I've also heard of instances of coke, but I think that, overall, it's very rare.

I don't do drugs and neither do...
I don't do drugs and neither do most of my friends, but if we wanted to, we could probably find them, especially marijuana. I think most people here who've smoked pot are the type who've only smoked once or on a very irregular basis, however. It really all depends on who you hang out with.

The only real drug I have noticed...
The only real drug I have noticed on campus is weed. I know a lot of people who smoke, but it's very relaxed, and the good majority of people who do smoke fully respect your opinion if you don't want to. I have found very little peer pressure regarding the issue.
