"Green" Initiatives
CCA is all about being green. Students are encouraged to reuse things or find scraps and reusable parts for their projects. Everyone is also encouraged to recycle and do helpful projects for the community. CCA also has regular "green" events. Check out www.cca.edu/about/sustainability for more information.
Traditions
Chimera Drawing Contest: CCA's mascot is the "chimera," a mythical creature with the head of a lion, body of a goat, and tail of a snake. Each year, a contest is held where students submit their interpretations. The winning drawing will appear on that year's official CCA T-shirts.

Clubs and Organizations on Campus
Most of the organizations at CCA have been created by students. And, if CCA doesn't currently have a club you're interested in, start one! There is a specific applications process to go through, but basically you need to fill out an application with the contact information for five members, a scheduled meeting time and place, adviser, and three event ideas.

CCA has many organizations for alumni and current students that focus on certain courses or majors, for example, the Ceramics Guild. There are also many contests and programs held each year to show off student work, like the senior literature show and animation show.

Did You Know?
