CLU makes parking an easy and quick process for students, commuters, faculty, and staff. For one, parking is free, and so are the permits. Individuals with vehicles must obtain a parking permit by filling out a form online or in person at the Welcome Center. Each parking permit sticker is good for one academic school year and must be replaced with a new one when the next school year comes around. Parking permits can be picked up at the Welcome Center. There is a general parking lot where anyone can park, even if they don’t have a parking permit sticker. Other parking lots and spaces indicate who is allowed to park there. “R” stands for residents who live on campus, “C” stands for student commuters, and “S” stands for staff and faculty. All residence halls have parking lots for student residents. Commuters, staff, and faculty may park in the general parking lot and campus streets.

Campus Public Safety continually check out the parking lots and spaces to ensure that people are parking in the appropriate spots. Although CPS gives out citations, the ticket fees are rather inexpensive compared to other schools.
