Student Parking Lot?
Yes
Students with permits can park anywhere on campus with signs indicating an "R," "C," or both. "R" indicates residents (students who live on campus) and "C" indicates commuters (students who live at home and drive to school). All residence halls have parking lots near the halls with "R" signs. Students with "R" parking permits may not park on the streets throughout the campus, such as Faculty Street, Luther Avenue, Pioneer Avenue, Regent Avenue, and Memorial Parkway. These streets are designated for commuters, staff, and faculty. A large general parking lot is open to all students, regardless of the letter on their parking permit, along Mountclef Boulevard and Olsen Road.
Freshmen Allowed to Park?
Yes
Freshmen residing on campus and with a car may park in the "R" indicated parking lots. All freshman residence halls have parking lots for residents. Freshman commuters with a car may park in the "C" indicated parking lots and in the general parking lot.

Getting a Parking Permit
Obtaining a CLU parking permit is an easy process. You can either fill out an online form to get a parking permit or fill out the form in person at the Welcome Center. All students, faculty, and commuters with a car parked on campus must have a parking permit sticker. Most stickers are placed on the back window, usually in the upper or lower corners. Each sticker is good for one academic school year, and a new one must replace the old one for the next school year. Parking permits can be picked up at the Welcome Center, mailed to your home address, or placed in your CLU campus mailbox, if you have one. Individuals with no parking permit sticker will receive citations.
