U-Hour

Our school has a thing called U- Hour which occurs every Tuesday and Thursday. This is a simple two hours where no classes take place and you are encouraged to go out and engage in academic groups. There are groups of all sorts of things on campus and if there isn't a group for the things you want it is easy to start one. I am in the honors society and will soon be in the math club.

First Thing

When first one drives into cal poly you notice a field with horses. these are required to be there per a contract with mr Kellog himself. this add a fun feel to campus. this combined witht the modernness of many of the facilities you get the feel of farm life but with a college if that makes sense.
